Hey Dev, I'll admit I don't know much about BMW's but there was a shot in this vid with the wheel off and the brakes and I gotta say, yellow (or maybe the BMW M logo's red or blue) powdercoated brakes on the M3 would be 🔥 🔥 🔥 Just my thought but would give some beautiful contrast to the white and the wheels.
From what I’ve been told on the forums and countless Indy shops, these valve covers are prone to warp especially once the engine bay is heat soaked and you keep driving them. Unfortunately not a simple fix of replacing the gasket and calling it a day. I would look into getting these recoated to address the issue.

Bmw common most leak areas are the valve cover gAskets and oil filter housing. I had an e92 that i weekend drove only and both leaked cause the oem gaskets suck. Valve cover takes several hours to change the 1st time, but i domt want to have to doit it every 10k-20k miles, everything is plastic on european cars, so replacing other hoses is recommended if it has high miles
Get a B58 340i xDrive (Mini M3) its the same engine in the Supra and it was vetted heavily by Toyota. Most folks I now who own them have stated they have been really reliable.

Hey Devin, I did a valve cover gasket on an inline 6 bmw once. It came back leaking a couple weeks later. Turns out bmw wants you to replace the valve cover too, not sure if that engine is the same way but it does have a plastic cover so just a thought lol
You know what you need to do roast them in your garage until the place is fully smoked out then slowly power break it out the front of the garage in slow motion as you come out.

It has had one owner, 6speed, about 2-3 thousand miles since 2016 so it mainly sits which is why he is selling it. Garage kept I believe and it’s stock I believe too. He wants about 43k. Not sure how much he will negotiate. What do u think about this deal? Just curious if u have any thoughts.

Unfortunately if you buy a BMW do you have to make sure you buy it twice so to speak lol... your second "purchase" is the amount you bought it for and putting it in the savings for all the repairs you'll need down the line or real soon if its used💀

If you’re PCV is leaking it might be because it is under pressure on throttle maybe it spews under hard acceleration

emissions code is the secondary air pump for cold starts, prob want to look into that devin
