My 1 year review of the ceyomur cy50 trail cameras. I share my 3 biggest pros and 3 biggest cons of these cameras. #westvirginia #trailcamera #review #ceyomur
The CY50's are the best so far out of the CEYOMUR series of cameras. The CY65, which is the bluetooth camera, well let's just say, the two that Jerod and I have, both ended up with moisture behind the camera lens. The pictures were all foggy to where you couldn't make out the image very well. Jerod and I are still running the CY50's we have, and we haven't had any issues. Strange, Matt, that you had SD card issues. So far Jerod nor I haven't had these issues, but we do use the same SD cards that we use in our video equipment. As for the straps, yes, the buckles could be of better quality for sure. Great video and review, Matt. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Juddie, I only have experience with the cy50s and 1 cy95 and like I said no problems other than sd cards, I’m guessing it’s luck of the draw with the cheaper cameras!
Thank you for this review. Ceyomur is a brand im considering buying. I need a few more trail cameras but dont have a lot of money. Your review definitely helps thank you
Thanks Ryan, even to this day they are still going strong. Only one issue that I have had is water under the camera lenses but the camera got turned upside down by a bear so I’m not counting that as a Ceyomur fault.
Thank you my brother... I was looking for some decent scouting cameras that were not expensive; and I believe I am going to get a few of these CY 50 cameras for my property.
Thanks for the review. I also have a couple of these cameras and like them very much. I use them on public land in NC. My experience is pretty much the same as yours. And I very much agree about the buckles on these . They are flimsy and if you cinch them too tight to a tree they will pop. I also recently tried the Wosoda G300 cams which are about the same price. I like them even better. That's one you should try.
I'm having serious battery life issues with the camojojo cel camera I got so I got a camojojo solar panel that actually made the battery life worse! The trigger speed is crazy good and the ability to get cel service is unbelievable. I think j&j true Outdoor adventures is having the same experience. I wish these cheaper companies would merge or something and come out with a great camera.
Hey!!!! Your the YT channel reviewer I watched and made me comfortable buying them!!! Thanks Juddie I appreciate all your reviews, makes my purchases a ton easier when I see you guys break them down in terms I relate to👍
@@tothemaxxoutdoors4771 I appreciate that, Matt! I just know a few people, after our initial review went out and bought one or the other of the cameras and they had issues right out of the box. That is why now when we do a camera review or pretty much any review, we will say that we will do a follow up video after so many months or so. Again, like I said our CY50's are doing good after a year and a half now, but both of the CY65's have had camera lens fogging issues now. Somehow, they have gotten moisture in the between the lens and the clear cover over the lens. On good hot days with hardly any humidity the fog will clear up, but you can see the water drop between the lens and clear cover. Again, that is on the CY65 bluetooth camera. The CY50's are still going strong and for the price I would buy another for sure. I like the features you get with them. Juddie - J & J TOA
Well I have to say I bought one and will never buy another. The one I bought never worked from day one. Got in touch with them and i will say it was a struggle with there costumer service. After a dozen or so back and forth phone calls, they sent me a new one. Well- same thing with the new one. And to top it off I had to pay out my pocket to send them back. I did get refunded for the camera (after 6 mths) but never got refunded for shipping. So I’m glad you had luck with them but I won’t b bye another

Thanks! Still putting in work in the field today with these cameras and nothing bad to say about them 👍

Thanks John, I will definitely look into the wosoda you mentioned. I have heard good things about them.
They take a pretty good video and a great pride point. Thanks for sharing.
I’m really happy with the results they have given me for the price I paid for them. Thanks for the support!

I second that idea of these companies making a few good ones!
I am watching this for sure to see your thoughts!!

Definitely a handy tool!! Thanks for the support 👍
Thank you for sharing my friend!!
Thanks buddy!!
I have 1 of those. I really like them. I’ve went down the rabbit hole on cell cams tho 🤣 good review buddy
Thanks Brian, I’d be with ya on the rabbit hole of cell cameras if I could get service but I’m not fortunate enough to have that.
best video ❤❤
Thank you
Good review my man. I may pick one up just on ecomical basis!
Hard to beat for the price in my opinion!
Nice review, brother.
Thank you👍

Well that’s my motto!!! Thanks Chris!

Sorry to hear that Dan, somehow I got 4 good ones. I’d say like many overseas companies quality control and customer service isn’t high on the list!
