Hello Denise - thanks for the awesome video. A suggestion - instead of guessing what inch you may want to use on the offset and inset you can use the left or right arrow keys to increase and decrease the width. I have found it is much easier this way. Hope this is helpful for you and your followers.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that you "MUST" move the distance black dot left or right before the arrow keys will work.

Thank you...I tried to do the joy knock out but did not work. I do not have the font I love glitter. I was so wanting this to work as I wanted to create my own sayings. Not computer smart...do my best for the most. Thank you so much for your info...appreciate it. I did know offset but you showed me a bit more detailed that I did not know. Thanks again. Thank you for this video! I am new to the new Design Space, and yesterday when I used it, was shocked (in a mostly good way) at the changes. I found offset but needed instruction. You explain things very clearly:)

So with something like the word create, or even the hearts, what can you make with the finished project? Can you use various papers and the Cricut will cut out each color layer separately, and you assemble it at the end? Will this work with premium vinyl too? Is that how a banner would be made? What about the Merry and Bright? Same process? These might be dumb questions, but I need to wrap my head around process and possibilities both. Oh some would be great on a T-shirt too, with HTV vinyl. All those you showed are really great designs.

Hi Gerrie, These are all great questions and you are right! We have so many possibilities it IS hard to wrap our heads around certain ideas or see the project through. You are not alone. Any of the ideas I presented could be used with paper, vinyl, or HTV and more depending on which Cricut machine you have. Take the hearts, for example, you could use 3 different colored papers or a pretty print of paper or a foil paper or even a fabric layer on top of the paper and make a cute banner by slicing a hole out of each end and using twine or ribbon type of deal...Or you could use the same ideas but put on a greeting card or a cute sticker on a tablet.....Ha, made me think of so many ideas and so little time! Happy creating! 😊
