@@Resetium No, just in general, since it opens on it's own. Being a high-traffic area for players and guards, VIP Npcs need to immediately head/run to the vault. Could be more punishing for players that shoot them without watching and waiting for them to enter the vault and walk normally.
What I'd like is a bit of an update of the priorities of the NPCs as the phase changes. Civies, staff, and researchers would stay the same through the game. Except maybe researchers start leaving the vault in phase 3. Guards would increase patrols in guard/technitian rooms as terminals get done, then a couple prioritize heading to the vault when it opens. VIP starts similar to a civie, then as terminals get done they go to guard rooms and tech rooms, then heads to the vault in phase 2. Phase 3 they immedietly book it out of the vault, running towards a extraction point, or certain designated spots.
Woot! My challenge got picked. I see you made it even more challenging by extending it to the vault phase. I thought it'd be too unreasonable to ask, but you proved me wrong.
The CIV only challenge makes me feel like how the game should've been from the start: all stealth-based and avoiding being seen, using a weapon only when caught out by the guards to keep them quiet.
I have an idea and just want to know your thoughts, I've always thought that all the guards are here to protect the package but when the vault is hacked or even when the package is stolen they just...don't care. So logically the guards when the vault is open would run into the vault and try and 'protect' the area and then when the package is stolen they would be in a heightened aggressive state, maybe just the state when they hear a fight. I'm not sure if this would break the game or not, it's just a cool idea I had.
I do wish the characters had special victory lines related to the lore of the map when you finish as the VIP. Like, Hans going, "Sebastian, your goods were always second-rate. Now they're mine!"
I got one! The Larcin no hack challenge. You can't hack intel, doors, or the gamble box, but you can use keycards to open doors. Basically total focus on spy hunting. It probably doesn't *HAVE* to be Larcin but I think pickpocket would really shine here, especially since you can't get to the briefcase on your own at all without finding a VIP card. It gives you more options than strictly looting other spies. Plus pickpocket clips are always good content. Also frees up the spyglass spot to feature other gadgets.
considering the running and jumping yu-mis who already play the game like they're doing a coverless VIP only challenge, the civilian challenge was definitely the harder of the two. impressive gameplay as always man 👏
I really would hope to see Deceive move towards a path that rewards more playing like a spy and less like a shooter. Sure, it's a FPS, but the way they tried to sell the game was by saying it's mainly a spy game, where actual deceit and strategy would play the biggest role in each match. But that's not what you see 99% of the time. Usually you'll just see a player that goes jumping everywhere as they rush terminals just to 2 tap anyone who's dumb enough to challenge them.
😩😩😩 managing to win against that Ace in the final fight in the first game… ur talent… also thank god you got that XP cassette after the Cav fight in game 2 I would’ve been lowkey sad if you didn’t. Best item in the game.
@@theq86 I feel like it'd be a little too easy or typical for this kind of challenge and wouldn't be as interesting with the safety net of that gadget.
I'm not sure it would have been that much of a benefit to be honest. It can't reliably hide me from a player, and while it would hide me from NPCs it nerfs my move speed which is valuable. Also I wanted to run comfortable gadgets as I expected this challenge to be difficult.
It really feels like the VIP should prioritize going to the vault when it opens.
Investigating why it opened, perhaps?

I always find it weird that the VIPs don't even care about vault being open.
@@Resetium i think yes, and they also should start running desperately, someone stole their package!

rank up, once you loose cover you have to go back to a civ, and you have to grab outfits in order (white/green/blue/purple/VIP)

It would be interesting to see guards & vips or just NPCs in general react to gameplay changes, more than just running from gunshots
Imagine if one day the devs silently added the ability for the VIP to randomly start running. For no reason.
The reason they're called the VIP is because they're the most important person to be sus of

Not really a challenge, but cloning lots of VIPs with Madam sounds hella fun to watch😂
Also challenge idea, A challenge where you're only allowed to heal from food. nothing else, no chips, abilities, nothing.

That was awesome, those were some really intense games! Reminds me of suit-only challenges in the Hitman games
The timing at 10:16 was insane! That expertise just came up. Nail-bitingly close. Good stuff!
Pretty sure a body shot will still kill him. But gets you out of Melee Range.

Holo mimic would probably make this challenge a bit easier, at least for hacking the gold door.
I thought he'd be using that for this challenge too.

Why not run prop cover on this chal?
