Basic Configuration of Huawei Router (Lab Session 2)

- A simple video aimed at beginners, entry-level network techs, or network admins who are unfamiliar with the Huawei Command Line Interface (CLI).
In this video you are going to learn the following configurations.
1. Open eNSP, create a new topology by connecting two routers via their G0/0/0 interface
2. Start Router 1 and check what is the VRP OS version, device model and router up time
3. Change the clock datetime and time-zone
4. Write dis Click tab and what do we get?
5. Write dis then space and then put question mark. What do we get?
6. Change the Router name R1
7. Add login information "Welcome to Huawei Labs"
8. Put Password "huawei" and set the time interval to 04:30 min
9. Put IP address on both the interfaces
10. Check if both the interfaces are up and running then ping from R1 to R2
11. Check the available files on flash of R1
12. Check if you have any saved configuration. If not, save your current configuration and save it to flash
13. Check now the configuration of your saved configuration
14. Check from the flash which saved configuration will start on the next startup
15. Delete the saved configuration and Restart the Router

we can also give an IP address to a switch. even if the switch is a layer 2 device or layer 3 we can apply an IP address on both.

How long does it take to boot devices???? It's been more than 5 minutes so far and there are still hash signs...
I found solution why it was only hash signs: I had to turn off firewall of windows)))
