My husband was hit hard by a metabolism shift when he hit 30. He started putting on weight no matter, went from 80kg (176lbs) to 110kg (240lbs) in the blink of an eye.
We tried everything and thankfully have gotten it under control - he has been stable at 110kg/240lbs for years now. He isn't going up anymore... but he can't lose the weight either.
He suffers from Chronic Fatigue, so exercise is basically impossible - it leaves him bedridden for days. He spends alot of time in a wheelchair.
Chronic Fatigue also means he HAS to eat certain amounts of stuff at certain times just to try and keep his energy - protein before bed, carbs in the morning etc.
I do almost all the cooking. My stomach doesn't work, it'll probably be surgically removed in the next few years, so cooking helps remind me I have to eat - and it makes sure I can feed him healthy stuff. We eat extremely healthy... but he just can't shed the weight.
Love is... knowing sometimes life deals you a hand you didn't expect, and accepting it anyway.
Love is... knowing sometimes things go a bit pear-shaped, and are hard or impossible to fix.
    We change.
We get disabilities, we gain or lose weight, we get sick, we go grey, we get wrinkles and warts and stretch marks... and love is being there with someone through every step.
I know the animator has a fat-fetish, being overweight is unhealthy, letting people become obese is harmful - fucking whatever.
Just because he finds obese people attractive doesn't mean he is some harmful feeder who wants to force people into obesity for his own sexual pleasure.
That's a bit like saying preferring skinny ladies means you want women to always starve themselves... which is dumb.
You can be sexually attracted to something without wanting people to hurt themselves. You can enjoy an aesthetic and a fantasy without wishing harm onto people.
I want my husband to have the body that makes him feel the happiest in his own skin - REGARDLESS of what I like. I love his gut, I love his tummy hair, I love his soft chest!
But that isn't the body he wants. Its not the body he currently has, and he may never have that body again... That is very sad.
I will do anything to help him get there, even if it means losing his cute tummy. I love him, and want him to know he is beautiful every step of the way to that goal.
    This animation is very sweet

You are a beautiful person and your love is inspiring. I wish both your problems could just be fixed, but it's true:love comes along life, and life sometimes deals us a bad hand, true love is enduring that bad hand together, as best as you can.

@@Thewaterspirit57 This is probably true with being slightly overweight, however I have to correct this misinformation. This does not apply to being obese. Regardless of your blood panels, every organ in your body has to work harder, including your heart, kidneys, etc. Each second that ticks by as you are obese might be equivalent to 1.25 or even 1.5 seconds for someone who is a healthy BMI.

I agree it isn't a good idea to be unhealthy but some people just want to be that way it's their choice I just wish the people that are talking bad about the video would just love the animation and understand what the artist was showing instead of trying to make it look and sound bad even though you can't help them to get back in shape you should still support them and love them for who they are and show them you should love them and who knows maybe there will be another video where he gets back in shape.

Idky but this makes me wanna cry bc of how much I relate to it. It's not his size, but hes the one that feels bad about himself, and of course I want him to feel good ab himself and happy and healthy. I do everything to support him, and I want him to know no matter what his size is I'll always be there by his side, trying to help him. So, I noticed that it says Mutual Growth.... but you can tell as the photos go with each set, that in the end, the smaller cervine is unhappy when looking at their partner.... they're unhappy with either their size or perhaps their lack of self? I LOVE this animation for the quality, but I take it as something different than everyone else I think.
It's adorable, but, watching someone get so large it becomes unhealthy or a safety concern.... I don't feel that that's love.... coming from someone who watched their Grandfather love his wife SO much he let her get to 620lb until she couldn't even move anymore.... or even have a life.... this animation makes me sad in a way.
My grandfather gave up his LIFE to love and care for my obese grandmother... and she never once thanked him... when she passed from her size/health the family was actually low key happy because my grandpa was FREE and he now has a amazing life.
So... from my own experiences... I just take something different from this animations meanings then others might.

If it *is* just straight-up wholesome WG content, then that's very 👍 and people should make what they like. But as someone not into WG, I originally saw this as a cute, wholesome animation depicting relatable changes/dynamics in a mundane long-term relationship that happened to abide by that... *”being able to tell an artist's fetish even in their casual non-fetish stuff“* meme to non-distracting levels (vs. the not-very-mundane scenarios typically depicted in WG???).
I'd like to think that incorporating the skills artists develop... *after dark* doesn't render their SFW content after dark. But I guess that whether that applies to this video depends on whether what happens behind the scenes is *mundane* or not, which now seems ambiguous to me after my second watch. 😅

I do not want anyone misinterpreting what I am saying or putting words in my mouth here; but he was gaining so much weight that it was putting his health and well-being at risk.
True love would be to convince the guy to see a doctor, then be there for him, giving him encouragement along the way; changing your own diet, so you both are eating what he sould be eating.
If the doctor chooses surgery, then true love would be to be in the hospital waiting for him to come out of surgery, then holding his hand as soon as you get the chance, holding something he really, really likes (such as an action figure, a comic book, or if he likes it, a very, very nice floral arrangement).
True love would be to do every single one of the chores and errands yourself every single day, until he feels better; then if he has true love for you, as soon as he is healed enough to do so, he will begin doing chores as well. (Maybe even take over doing all of them for a while after he heals completely.)

I hate to say it, because the animation is really nice, but love shouldn't involve enablement.. That is, it seems like rather than encouraging healthy habits they're letting their partner become unhealthy out of "acceptance". Loving someone should involve encouraging them to be at their best rather than stepping aside or even "feeding" into destructive behavior out of fear of emotional conflict. Besides this, the animation is fairly endearing and was enjoyable to watch.

      @KingBear12 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

@@spiwolf6998 I watch a lot of sumo wrestling and they explain that most sumo wrestlers are built differently. Which is why successful ones have a short lifestyle. If you watch live coverage of bashos, which is their competition, you can see them having issues with stairs. They can lift cars, people, but long distances give them trouble. Much like body buildings and power lifters can do amazing feats but due to muscle mass, can't get a note off their back. Yet someone who works with yoga can. They build up muscle and stamina to have fights, to have bursts of energy and strength. Look at wrestler Touchinoshin. His build is different from other sumo wrestlers, extremely built under his weight, watch his videos and his arms and legs. But you'll see by just him walking around, he will start to heave. Different body builds, different ways to deal with stuff. Not saying it's bad but obviously he is working out and his partner loves and supports him. But we gotta see the whole picture. Like the vending machine and breaking rules video the creator did. Small hidden details to why the one character is so shy and hidden. Hope this helps, cheers!

Really sad to see the dudes health drop while being in a relationship with the smaller one. That indicates that the smaller one either flat out doesn't care if his partner becomes bedridden due to weight or is actively trying to hurt his partner by feeding him so much that he can't even get up the stairs. Dude is a feeder and it's really sad. Stay healthy everyone and get you a person who pushes you to be the best and most healthy you you can be. Not someone that tries to make you so weak that you HAVE to depend on them to live. What happens if the small one dies or breaks up with him? Can he ever go up those stairs again? Can he even get off the couch without help? Don't date people who feed your addiction because it all leads to death and terrible pain.

"feeding him so much he can't even get up the stairs"? The scene just before that was the smaller one trying to get the larger one to work out. And people posess their own free will. I highly doubt the smaller one is forcing him to eat considering the smaller one seems very unhappy having to care for the other when he does get exceptionally big. The pizza scene was the second frame just as the bigger one had gain a small amount of weight and floated up the stair following him. I do feel it's more a commentary on how people who gain large proportional amounts of weight don't consider how their habits and drastic life changes affect their spouses. Especially when they get so big, health issues begin to flare and they sit in a constant state of worry their loved one might have a hiccup in their health they might not come back from, like a stroke. The sign in the back, mutual growth... relationships are always mutual, at least, they should be. And corvine gaining weight should see it's worrying their partner and making them stress, but they persue still getting bigger. I believe the story shouldn't be for the smaller one to give in and accept the bigger's choices and try to be happy for their partner. I feel they should have had some kind of conversation and find some mutual ground.

HONESTLY! There’s an upper limit to everything, and that limit is at physical incapability.
