What I want to know is if angels still become demons or if these demons were all a result of when Lucifer fell from heaven - like the one who left with him. Anyone know?
From the book of Enoch, demons that possess human beings were angels sent by God on earth to help them such as teaching, revealing,... Things we could use to develop the world like use of minerals.... And those angels were given human fresh (male) and they started to love female human beings unfortunately, from there came those giants spoken in the Bible..... I really really want to hear him ask the question, "What were the reason these demons turned away," and, "Can a demon ever be redeemed, and if they are what will they look like afterward"
Genuine question, The name of Jesus, seems to be the only name the demons fear, why would earthy artifacts mean anything or have significance to compel them? Just asking:) for context, I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the risen savior, but I am protestant
The Name of Jesus is the only Name that demons will bow to (Philippians 2:10-11), but it is not the only name that causes them fear. I am dealing with demonic possession personally: they are terrified at the words 'Mary Immaculate' (her existence & 'fiat' to God causes them great humiliation). They scream in terror when God is asked to send St Michael, St Raphael, or when Saints such as St Padre Pio or St Benedict are asked to intercede. All that is achieved in Exorcism is the power of God through Jesus Christ to the glory of God in the Most Holy Trinity, but His angels & Saints do cause them (demons) fear. They (angels & Saints) are in complete uniformity to the will of God & He works through them.
@@codybaker7298 A complete answer to your question will take many facets. The first thing to understand is that post our Lord's death and resurrection, he has reconciled and sanctified all things. For example, he told Peter to kill and eat in Acts 10, whereas before those things were unclean. Also see 1 Timothy 4. Also there are material things that had power, such as the Ark of the Covenant, even touching it kills you. That is also a type for Mary (i.e. she is the New Testament Ark of the Covenant) as she contained God within her. Also relics of Saints have power, see the bones of Elisha in the book of Kings. So things like Holy Water, Relics, Icons etc are windows into the Divine and God uses them. It is still the power of God, but he uses the material. I am Orthodox and our services involve the engagement of all senses; we hear the Word of God, we see the Icons of our Lord, we small the sweet incense, we taste in communion and we touch the Icons and Relic and we do the sign of the cross. God wanted it this way.
Woah, so you mean to tell me the age old question: why does God let bad things happen? The answer is because the beings created to protect us from bad things fell from grace and so that job is vacant. That’s a wild theory. And if those jobs were reoccupied there would be no consequences to actions, we are back in the garden… woah.

So if demons were created to sing at Mary bringing forth the Son (Luke 2) that proves the incarnation was always the plan, so EO Church position is right, Scotus is right and Aquinas wrong.

The interviewer has to maybe rethink of how to interview in tranquility; specially in terms of how to keep a reasonable asking rythm. That is: not to divide his asking in several segments, insterspersed between his speaking guest turns by which he just cuts the complete wording of his own questions, so that the answering guest cannot give his entire answer without the repeating -and very annoying- background sound of the interviewer's redrafted question as a talk over. Interspersing commentaries while an answer is been given is perfectly logical, but talking over by redrafting the question is pure noise. They are bound to say the truth during exorcism

They invoke God to compel them to tell the truth, so they do. It’s a fascinating process he describes!
What I want to know is if angels still become demons or if these demons were all a result of when Lucifer fell from heaven - like the one who left with him. Anyone know?
Angels exist outside of time so they all have rejected or accepted God's will. Lucifer was just one of the angels who rejected God.
So they are different from the fallen angels with lucifer, they do not have where to stay that is why they need a place to be so they fight to enter a human body
@@inna7803Enoch is not approved scripture. All demons are restless & want to inhabit humans. This is why ppl can be possessed by Lucifer & all kinds of demons, from all kinds of ranks.
@@lifesong8484 It's still unclear

You've got it all wrong. Angels are only assigned responsibilities but a person's free will is above it because God respects free will. They only take care and guide people they can't make decisions for you. You make your own choices.

I believe everything the Bible says is true. I struggle with believing exorcist stories. I don’t know why. I pray for discernment as I listen.

@@agentpeely123you got a point
@@agentpeely123 I was the same. My brother and mom had to get an exorcist because of reasons I hesitate to detail. It often happened with them both at once, together, but every time I happened to be in my own room.
So I doubted. Then God granted a personal experience. Then another. I thought it was some recurring dream, and tested this. I discarded nutrition, dehydration, deterioration of my sanity, lack of proper sleep. It just came _back._ While I'd rather not, I can go into detail how I discarded all other possibilities if you need me to.
Yet still I would not recommend it. I haven't known true terror until then. While I had recently converted through reason and research, my heart wasn't there, and didn't even bother with communion. Never have I trusted God and fought for my sanctification this hard in my whole life. but I'm just going to stop right here, I hate recalling this.
I have no idea how this priest can speak of these things so casually. I don't think I'd ever get used to demonic stuff. May God deliver us all from evil.
Now I'm fine, in case you're wondering. It's all in the past. It's been a couple months now.
I know exactly what you mean. I don’t doubt the existence of the demonic. I pray that our priests who perform exorcisms remain steadfast in their pursuit of holiness. Father, Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Interesting…. So god fully intended for man to fall is what I picked up. Because he specifically created angles for Joseph and Mary.
Not a Catholic, but God is outside of time so he could've prepared for the fall without causing it.

Why would you trust anything a demon says even during an exorcism?
I remember he’s goes into this in the full interview
They don’t, that is one of the reasons why exorcists don’t take the information they gain from demons and teach it to others
Sometimes God compels them to say the truth.
From what I heard, when the information is relevant to the possessed person’s liberation, demons are compelled to tell the truth. Otherwise, exorcists say they never believe them.

So if demons were created to sing at Mary bringing forth the Son (Luke 2) that proves the incarnation was always the plan, so EO Church position is right, Scotus is right and Aquinas wrong.
One, you can’t take everything a demon says at face value. Two, God knowing in His omnipotence that mankind would need a Savior and deigning to design His universe around that future does not automatically make Scotus’ claim correct.
@@Sharker2400 theosis was meant as a crown to humanity, why do you think Christ was baptized, not only to fulfill Isaiah 11 but to do what Adam couldn't.

It blocks the interviewed person in its own pace and narrative, and prevents listeners from proper concentration and understanding, and it even prevents the interwiever from thinking or reflecting of a better next commentary and/ or question.
If demons don't exist, what are we to make of the priest? That he is seeing things as a result of a phenomena in his mind or that he is duping us into believing that he has seen things? I believe the latter.
the church affirms that demons exist, idk what you're on about
They do exist. Exorcism is a trained profession for a reason. Don't ask how I know, you won't care and I won't like detailing.
@@cyrillian13 You believe in demons because of your faith in the Church. Wouldn't it make more sense to believe in them if there were ways to independently verify their existence? After all, this is the standard in the Bible where people claimed to have seen them or heard them directly.
The Church hid abuse from within the institution for decades. Why is it unreasonable to consider the possibility that they were wrong on this?
@@crusaderACR Being a profession that has a process to become that is not a guarantee that it is based on firm foundations. Your belief in demons comes from your faith in the Church. In reality, your faith in the Church should be confirmed by your experience or verification of demons.

Yeah, talking to the demons possessing a person is highly advised against by the church.
This is information from a deceiving spirit who will tell you anything, and appeal to your pride and curiosity.
And boy oh boy, they got this priest’s number.
It’s advised against for lay normal people
But Catholics exorcist of course can and have to question demons during exorcism, also to understand how to free the person
You should talk to exorcists or even to people who pray with the exorcist (liberation groups)
It is part of the exorcism for the priest, in the name of Jesus, to command the demon to tell the truth. Getting the name of the demon is a crucial part of liberation. Yes, demons always lie. But they can be commanded to tell the truth and this is part of the rite.

And according to the Church, this is dangerous.

@@tomgoetz513 , other exorcist has stated that they do in fact are allowed to ask the demon about the purpose of their creation and their nemesis in heaven because it helps in the exorcism process. What they aren't allowed is to have conversation with them.
This is a bit odd to me. I thought Fr. Ripperger said that a demon's nemesis is the one that will take the place originally intended for they, the demon, in heaven. This demon doesn't sound like it's ashamed because St. Joseph will be taking its place. It sounds like it's ashamed because it was meant to be a gift to St. Joseph. Do different exorcists use the word "nemesis" differently? It's like they operate in their own little world! 😂
A nemesis is a type of enemy, especially one that is difficult or impossible to defeat. It could be someone a person (or angel) has a special animosity towards. As such both usages are not incorrect.
