You can kinda tell it's a mosque because of how the building is set. When it's offset on the square footage it seems it's built to face Mecca. Otherwise the building would be set straight on the foundation not oddly diagonal. Just my opinion.
@@nalin8182 Actually found this information on Wikipedia so take it for what it's worth. "The current two-storey building was commissioned in 1904 by Ahamed Haji Ismail, allegedly on the site of a Portuguese catholic church." It certainly can't be converted and looks built for the sole purpose of pointing towards Mecca.
Jack, in terms of languages, what did you speak at home growing up and what did you learn at school? You should do a Q & A video about yourself. Just a suggestion from one humble viewer. - Grant in Colorado, U.S.
@@JackRoaming Great, I will propose a few questions. It's your channel, so you can answer some or none in the Q&A. Which city is your home base, and how often are you there? Do you currently have a job? Which city that you've visited was your favorite? What's a travel story that you haven't mentioned on your channel? Do you have a calling or goal for your life? Have you considered leading a tour group or doing a company, maybe something like "Jack's Multilingual Tours"? Thanks, Grant. By the way, I discovered your channel doing research for a trip to Turkey. That was a great series. Happy travels.

Luxembourgish is my native language, and I learned French, German, and English at school. Will do a Q&A some time in the future, cheers!

I am curious, how much did you pay to take tuk tuk and jeep on the way back?
