Yes I agree it been about that long for me too. At that time I believe it was the Dolphins 🐬condos that where tallest. Unless I'm mistaken.
I personally like it with no towers.
Need more greenery there not look like a mini Vancouver or Toronto with those towers.

This is the problem that Canada is going through that Canada is now for sale to the highest bidder it's sad that most Canadian citizens can't afford it.
Streets and sidewalks next to the building should've been wider. Once the possession is taken, then watch the BS going in or out of building.

@@hapijen4828 I know very well that many Asians buy up as much real-estate as possible because that's how they hide their money. The problem is the shorted of housing but the Asians don't care about others and what makes it worse is the city is clueless.

This housing & homeless shortage problem is international & historical & it would be unfair to ascribe it to one set of people.
There is enough land on the planet for everyone's need but not for everybody's greed.
Non stop Babel towers in most city centres are turned into luxury hotels or investment properties that are used as safe places to park the funds of the wealthy - whom live elsewhere.
Naive to believe that the city planners who give planning permission are clueless.
