They gave their heart on the field, and the guy sitting in front of his or her computer proclaims that is "crap." That says a lot about you, not about them.

"New kids"! Are you kidding? They have been around for almost two decades. As for the men's team, they haven't won the AFC for almost half a century, never advanced to the knockout stage at WCs, and haven't qualified for the Olympics for the longest time.

I watched the full match. Iran's strategy complaining they were hurt ruined the game! Some were obviously pretentious.

Kudos to the whole team, considering that they were probably more worried about keeping their head coverings in place than kicking the ball, for fear of getting scolded by their morality police when they are back.
One of them got exposed when she went to the ground but no teammate covered her unlike what i saw before in a clip on youtube when a certain team immediately covered their teammate from the cameras, even the opposing team covered her

به نظرم زنان ایران از لحاظ قدرت بدنی کم آورده بودن و توان مبارزه بدنی پایاپای با دختران فیلیپینی نداشتند،بین همه شون به خاطر فرصت های بیشتر حریف، دختر ایرانی دروازه بان با شجاعت به تنهایی دروازه اش رو بسته نگه داشت. با اینحال آفرین به همه شون.

UPDATE:
Philippines won agaisnt Iran 1-0 they got 6 points, so that means China and South Korea needed to draw and Vietnam lose, Vietnam lost to Japan 2-0, and China and South Korea 1-1. But, Uzbekistan won agaisnt India 3-0 to get the best second spot. Philippines fails to qualify on the third round via goal differential.😢

unfortunately no, PH finished 5th, there are 4 remaining countries, japan, nokor, aus and uzbek..and only 2 will qualify
Filipinas needs to be more aggressive. A lose badly with S. Korea in Asian game and Australia last week is no excuses for having nil for the Filipinas. After the World Cup, these ladies shouldn't be playing like they are playing now. Most of them are playing like they are dehydrated and sluggish. Something tells me there's something going on within the team organization to be playing like this. They should have offer more money and contract extension to Alen Stajcic and his staff.
they just experimented against australia which (i think) was a factor on that 8-0 match
while filipinos are not that interested in Football thanks to these fil foreign players sacrificing for Philippines.
There are locals who play football well but of course, earning a roster spot is a thing

@@KENCHARLES.N One can expect a few of these players to appear the way that they do because they are religious. But we can't expect every single player including the coaching and the medical staff to be okay to be covered up like that specially given the fact that the Iranian women had this massive up rising which was brutally crushed by the islamic republic authorities last year over wearing forced hejab.

@@KENCHARLES.N Whether we like to or not, politics is heavily intertwined with professional sports specially with football. The islamic republic authorities in Iran work very hard to show the world that the Iranian women willingly appear with those extra ponds because they are proud muslims. But again, last year's up rising showed us a different story of what really goes on in that country. You may be surprised to know that no Iranian women's football games are shown on their televisions because of the way that the opposite team for example Philippines here appears. People can only be informed of their results through reports and some expertly taken pictures.
Maybe one day the Philippines will learn how to play in the women's football. ...... with real Philippinas.
Nevertheless, well done for now. However if their country of 110 mil gets behind them, both in financial and moral support, im sure they can.

FIFA rules are very slack now days. Just because i spend many years in the Philippines as a "Philippino national" due to my business venture there, shouldn't quality my grand daughter to play for them.

Do your research before spouting your stupidity because the rules are the same for every national team. There are even more good half-Filipina soccer players still waiting to get their diplomatic and citizenship documents okayed so they can try out for the Philippine national team.
