I get it 😅 I feel the same about doing with with dirty hair
I heard a mouse/setting spray is good as refresher for twistouts so might make sense.
My stylist tells me its best to do a twistout on mid week or old wash and go and its the best!

Mousse dry faster but i dont get much hold 😢, i usually do my twists outs with aunt jackies gel and it last for at least 4-5 days before i have to wear it in a puff
