The Willys CJ2A, 3A, and 3B were born after WW2 as a o anywhere, do anything machine as wel with 3 point htches and pto's for farming implements and the ability to duty as a car. They were smaller than a series 1 but much loved by ex Servicemen from WW2 where the indomitable MB Jeeps were mobile when nothing else was. Both amazing machines of the day. Eh
Its a shame Land Rover doesnt admit to the first defender or series 1 built mostly on jeep parts, and that if jeep had parts abundant in the U.K land rover would arguably never be. At least give credit to where credit is due. They were not the first company to make a "go anywhere do anything vehicle". But I get the sense they are trying to say that. I will admit the Land Rovers are great iconic just as much as the Jeep.
The parts were based on jeep parts not actually taken from jeeps. The point of the Land Rover series 1 was that jeep parts were all but unobtainable and so Britain needed a new way of going off road without going bankrupt
Best vehicle ever made and i hope they dont stop making them
I wish more videos like this would be made!
Indeed develop a 4x4 that was comfortable and could do work in the field.

Basically a far-improved, higher quality Jeep which makes sense
