Serving up exposure and justice through time with research and the fair 20/20 hindsight of a 21st century perspective. I love the internet! I recently watched Roald Dahl’s interviews and, while I have given him slack for the blinders of his socioeconomic status and the era of his upbringing, I couldn’t reconcile the cognitive dissonance between the slack I give him and the fact he gave none to others. Do unto others is the golden rule that stands untarnished by time. My mother always said, "it all comes out in the wash" meaning that no matter how your proverbial laundry gets soiled by lies, or aired by false accusations, unjustly, in the end it will come clean. The truth will always surface sooner or later. Truth floats. I’m glad to see someone gets a clean reputation she has long deserved and someone who did such things to others for the sake of entertaining and self-entitlement is shown to be what he really is. Thank you for this!
Jeremy Treglown's 1995 biography of Dahl exposed the unpleasant truths behind the Santa-like image; his first wife Patricia Neal's autobiography called him 'Roald the Rotten'; the Dahl estate has recently apologised for his open antisemitism. Penguin Books has produced sanitised versions of his books removing the racism, misogyny and other examples of his bigotry. However I believe there is still more to be added to our understanding of him so please subscribe and look out for future videos. The current balance of likes to dislikes is 97%.
Thanks for sharing this very interesting critique.
Thank you!

What did he do? After all this video is subjective and his view of Dahl is just that and maybe he has a side to why he is throwing Dahl under the bus.
What’s come out about him? You seem intent on destroying his reputation.
