Hey everyone. I know there's been some frustration around this video and the multiplayer. About a week and a half ago from when I'm typing this, WB decided to somehow pull the plug on the remaining server support. I'm very disappointed because this was such a unique multiplayer experience. It can still be enjoyed on PC, but PS3 and Xbox are out of the question for now. I am hopeful it will come back, but am not sure. The game was revived a bit in 2019-2021 but ever since then the multiplayer has really died off. Im glad you're keeping it alive and supporting the multiplayer community Jay!
Can confirm, during the Covid lockdown back in 2020 I played a lot of Arkham Origins multiplayer on PS3 and there usually were (nearly) full lobbies

Hey Jay, PS3 still somewhat works. PC still works you just have to install the community patch(easy way) and when you want just go into online and you don’t have to wait an hour and get in immediately. I own a discord server with over 200 fellow Pc players and a moderator in a Steam chat with very active numbers. If you want I can send a link. Also keep going Jay, I enjoy the content!

the problem with games these days is they make a game with dlc in mind.
back in the day they first made a great game and if it was succesfull they added more dlc.
Games like the Witcher 3 and Batman Arkham all had such good base games you just wanted more

I never got a chance to play the multiplayer which is a shame because I would have played the hell out of it, but it's cool to see that I still have the opportunity to play it.

I wouldn’t mind watching a live stream of you and someone else playing a game. That’ll be fun to watch. You don’t even have to be on camera if you don’t feel comfortable. Either way your gameplay videos are great.
Loved this multiplayer. Genuinely some of the best online multiplayer experiences I've had. Despite how glitchy and inconvenient the overall experience was
Multiplayer. The reason I can't get all the achievements for Batman Arkham Origins, Assassins Creed Unity, and Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag on Xbox One.

@@joaquinhoult7531Yeah. I even did the achievements for the challenge maps and the DLCs for Arkham Origins. And I got every achievement for the other 3 Arkham games as well. Multiplayer trophies and achievements shouldn't be in single player games.
Great video! I also captured the data network packets and sent to a few other PlayStation revival groups in hopes we get this game fully revived instead of that dreaded 1 hour wait time.

This game had a great multiplayer, imagine if they included this in a (very unlikely) Origins remaster
I want them to bring it back but if we are being realistic we won’t see any Batman Arkham remastered anytime soon except maybe Arkham City
The sad truth is Superhero games are practically dead (the last few been terrible performing plus weren’t very fun) and stealth doesn’t sell well unless it’s Hitman; both genres that Batman is a part of in a bad spot
This doesn’t even get into the fact that WB Montreal got to be the cheapest devs on the planet (only worse one is Eidos Montreal). They make something with a big IP attached to it and expect an overnight success, if it doesn’t become a best seller they just pull the plug on it.
I liked Arkham Origins but it seemed like as soon as they realized they couldn’t make a ton of money from it they abandoned it. There was supposed to be 1 more DLC campaign plus 2-3 more multiplayer maps (there was even a partially complete map in the game’s files) but they scrapped it

7:16 EXACTLY! I'd love to come back to this if they revived it AGAIN, but with BOTS. I'd never stop playing again! I was a level 235 over the years. Even in the 2020s. I think 2021,as well actually. I was a crazy player back in the day, and then a few or couple years ago. I still miss it. It should totally be brought back, again if need be

Very depressing. On my old acc I was glued to this mode. Having Joker and bane gang at level 30. With ridiculous amount of game time when the game was still at its peak. Very fun and I remember a lot of games where I would go off with joker or bane.

I never got to play this Multiplayer, but it always looked amazing.
Some of my best gaming memories were from this multiplayer. It was incredible underrated. Sure it was a little buggy but the concept was so unique.

I miss playing this on Xbox 360 back in the day. I played this from the moment I got home from school everyday. I would always exit the game if I didn’t get Jokers goons cuz I personally like them more and their customization was way wackier and cooler.

Honestly speaking I'd prefer I full fledged game based on the multi-player but more playable heroes and villains like Red Hood, Batgirl and Croc and Two-Face and different game modes

Yeah it takes a while but somehow it still works. It's still a bit of a.laggy mess but it's also a very unique multiplayer experience.

I remember being able to play online in early 2020 on Xbox what happen?
might sound crazy... but i remember being able to play this on my PS4 in 2020, through downloading Playstation Now and streaming BAO. i don't remember how long it took me to get it up and running, but i definitely was lucky enough to play a few matches. i wonder if it still might work on PS4/5 somehow with whatever little player base there is, considering the paywalls to get the game.
I would have to look into that one because I remember that working too on psnow. Now that that entire system has been reworked some I'm not sure how functional it is. Everyone I've talked to only does ps3

Forget Multiplayer. I want a way to play Arkham Origins in general today. My old PS3 broke down and I'm not an Xbox or PC player. It's why I really want a remaster only if they do one I hope it looks better than the Return to Arkham remasters because I'm not a huge fan of them.

Get the xbox series x or s, then get the cd version, and you can play the game because it is backwards compatible.

It's a very interesting situation. I'd love to do more research on the Arkham Origins multiplayer, but it was developed by a different team as far as I can tell as well. And I've read things about how they were originally planning or thinking about adding it into it earlier game but it didn't work out, but I will have to look more into it.

The 360 version of multiplayer is shut down permanently. It only works on PS3 and PC

Yeah it's very frustrating. I actually would have preferred to play it on Xbox because my experience was, not that the multiplayer ran perfectly on either, but it ran a bit better on Xbox when I used to play it there.

U can’t, u need a physical disc because Microsoft took it down digitally. Only way to play is physical disc
