Jungwon is a really competent dancer!!.. I know he has proven it many times all throughout I-Land reality show but seeing him dance side by side with Ni-ki.. He definitely is keeping up very well with the Maeknae dancing machine!! Fighting Enhypen!!
sorry but i will disagree with this. jungkook, while an amazing dancer, is not the best dancer in bts. ni-ki is the best dancer in enhypen on the level of jhope and jimin. jimin is a trained dancer, while you may think he is an elegant dancer he can toughen it up and be as powerful as the choreography calls for it. jungwon is a good dancer but incomparable to Jimin.
in my opinion jungwon has that elegant moves and the way he dance is very graceful and he knows how to control his movements. niki has a powerful and sharp moves you can really tell that he is the main dancer of enhypen very clean movements. the 2 of them have a very unique style of dancing. :)

What is fascinating to me is how fast Jungwon managed to become this good. His training time is only 1 year and 4 months, and he mentioned in the early episode of I land how he said that he was a former Taekwondo athlete and how dancing is very similar to taekwondo, but still, he learned to dance this well so fast??? So fluid, but he knows how to put power when needed. He is incredible in isolation kind of moves (rainism) and anything that highlights his fluidity. But he still dances any genre and concept well as we've seen on I-Land. And Niki is a trained professional dancer. He has literally been dancing since he was a toddler and was teaching kids much older than him when he was 11-12. He dances cleanly, sharp and calculated movements, but still flexible. He knows how to make his moves look bigger to the audience for greater impact. He makes use of the long arms and legs he has to make crazy beautiful body lines. It is frightening to imagine how good he will be in the future. Both are amazing. I wouldn't mind if both became the main dancers of Enhypen.

Jungwon trained at SM for 3 years then joyned bighit. He trained at bighit 1 year though. He was a takwendo when he was really young, probably before SM ?

Well we spouse to complain how good their dance about them two not only once, Niki such a great and powerful dancer and jungwon is most charming dancer, I just have to say that enhypen have a great dancer line ♡
as a person who's been dancing for 14 yrs (19yrsold) the way these two are dancing and theirstyles??is very different. So I would not go and say somethng about one of them being greater thhan the otherone because the way they execute themselves is clearly different. in case of JUNGWON. he kinda remnds me of Jisung of NCT DREAM. bc these two for me ,in every performances,they aways "go by the rules" (because overdancing and underdancing can very much happen). very fluid,very flexible.They dance smoothly without crossing the boundsries,but theres a difference between them too.Jungwon can still be the one who we would watch at the end even though he may not be in the spotlight because to me,he really really is a great dancer (esp the I&credible dance,he OWNS every moves of that song imo).If you pay attention to his dance,you can notice that his hips are very flexible(??) He uses them in the most useful ways. NI-KI dances powerfully hitting every spot..Very flexible,even though he's tall (and still growing) his movements are everything bbut awkward.He knows how to use his body __he knows what he's doing and thats scary (his part in dive into you was xoxo)he's still so young but he already has 99% of everything that a phenomenal dancer should have and thats something to be talked about and taken seriousy bc he will clearly be high up there in the future.He has the potential to be the greatest 4thgrn dancer out there imo IIMO I think these two are the top dancers in enhypen (though each one of them are beyond great)

Then soon you'll see his turning with his legs open widely in a very low position. This is a difficult skill. His lower body must be very strong. Even these things, he did in a few seconds and his every movements appears so quickly, perfectly and precisely. This Japanese boy is NOT LIKE A TYPICAL MAIN DANCER out there. Bighit must be lucky to have this kid
I don't know why we have to compare Ni-Ki and Jungwon's way of dancing. They both have different dance styles and both are main-dancers material. I believe Ni-Ki will automatically be the main dancer of ENHYPEN but for Jungwon, we aren't sure what Belift+ standards for a "main dancer" yet. I mean Jungwon has proved it many times that he's a main-dancer-material and maybe he will be a main dancer of ENHYPEN too along with Ni-Ki.
I don't really think the comments are intended to compare. It just so happen that they are in the same vid and people are praising Ni-ki for his sharp moves. It's the same as when you put Ni-ki and Jungwon singing in one video and you might also see comments appreciating Jungwon's vocals since Ni-ki still needs time in that area. ^^
how can we not compare when the video itself has put them side by side so this clearly calls for a comparative analysis. and there is nothing wrong at all with comparing and contrasting, we that all the time to formulate and discover truths. with this video we are able to discover who has sharper execution, who is more fluid, who has better extension. with this we are able to conclude who is a better dancer and thus worthy to be called the main dancer.

The difference between them both is that Niki is a Technique based Dancer. He has sharp and accurate moves while isolating his body without difficulties. Jungwon on the other side is a Strength based dancer because of his Taekwondo past. He is excellent at locking, popping and would be good at Krumping. Jungwon gives off a very overwhelming feeling almost a desperate feeling if he puts all his power in it.

I know Jungwon is a good dancer but Ni-Ki is on another level of dance perfection. You can clearly see their gap here. The execution is sharp, the transition is beyond fluid. I can remember when K and Ni-Ki had a discussion about the dance techniques of other contestants. They were not dissing. They were just surprisingly underwhelmed by their skill levels. I can't wait to see more of Ni-Ki.
Niki probably is the best dancer of this generation. But we can't deny the fact that Jungwon also has lead dancer potential. If he had the same years of dance experience as Niki, I think he can also achieve Niki's level.
