I feel ike you're going to get this answer a lot, but one of my style icons is you! I absolutely love your philosophy when it comes to fashion, aka "treat everyday like a big game of dress-up". I've come out of my fashion shell so much this year since I started college, but I still have a long way to go and watching your videos always inspires me and gets my creative juices flowing. Also, your Gilmore Girls video recently inspired me to finally watch it after having it on my watchlist forever, and now I'm styling outfits inspired by Lorelai!
You have been my style icon for quite a bit now, it's can sometimes be a little difficult to find people who aren't afraid to be over the top and fun. You're also the reason I'm into kpop!
Generally my style inspo is more about theming or concepts, like rainbows, fruits, ice cream, dolls, care bears etc. But i have been obsesseddd with enid's style on wednesday (honestly that whole show's styling is iconic), and also been vibing quinni from heartbreak high's style and the youtuber pixielocks. I would love to see you do a wednesday styling video if you're up for it! Also i like your chatty videos. You do you ❤

I have been LIVING for 90s cooky friend fashion!! Phoebe from friends, the cook from Gilmore girls (can’t think her name :( ) and just anyone who dressed kinda weird for the 90s 😭

trends change so much but sometimes it’s so fun to dress with certain trends no matter how many people are wearing them i hate the whole hating on people who follow trends
yesss it’s fun to live in the middle ground where you don’t feel pressured to keep up with every trend but still have fun trying the trends you do like!!
I think trends are great for people like me who lack confidence in dressing how I want but if I follow a trend I feel more comfortable in something a lil different because others are wearing it too!
Um, DUH we want an Ai Yazawa lookbook! I don't wear anything close to as much colour as you incorporate into your wardrobe, but I love seeing you do it! And Yeah, I'm with @Valentina Jaimes. As much as I've prided myself on my sense of style, I didn't' realise how desperate I was for accessorising!! Finding your channel has been hugely pivotal in fleshing out my own style this year. Other icons: Misa Amane, the Matrix, J Fashion in general (have definitely loved the introduction to the Nana universe and style), Miss Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries, the Witcher/Lord of the Rings (always tbh)/fantasy in general. And most of all with a goth bent, which is just what I'm most comfortable with. I've been all over, but I always have been and watching your channel has helped me fully commit to having throughlines in my style, without having to fully commit to any one style. I loved the chatty video -- it's been a while since we've gotten to hang w you too!! Thanks, Katie, for a new video!

I really like your chit-chat videos, they are so relasing, cosy and always gets my mood up :D And even thogth we stylewise are totally different (I like vintage and cottagescore), I agree with what so many other poeple write here - that you are so inspirering because you are experimental, have fun with fashion and at the same time think about sustanibility. The way people dress today is hardly different (in general) from the way they dressed 20 years ago. But if you look at the way people dressed in 1975 it was world’s apart from the way they dressed in 1955 - one factor might be that people of middle class and higher economic status have so many clothes that they don’t need much that’s new and have little motivation to buy. Plus anything new seems like a rehash of the past. I used to laugh when men’s magazines like GQ would have fashion articles that began “the return of…..”. Everything was a return - so what if the “return” didn’t look exactly like the first time, it was still close enough to be uninteresting.

I don’t know anything about K-pop (except what you’ve taught me) but some of my style icon musicians are Courtney LaPlante from SPIRITBOX, Megan from Vexed, and Lauren Mayberry from Chvrches.
I've noticed that I'm also much more drawn to the Fem fairy aesthetic when I have purple/pink hair. It just completes the fantasy!

My style goes through rotating character phases (fairy/witch/princess, colorful, etc), but when it’s just me I’m either casual or preppy/semi formal, no in between. For icons, it’s gotta be the Bratz, vintage Barbie, Bleach, Hachi and Junko from Nana, 40s-70s fashion, Shining Nikki, and basically any magical girl anime. But I will say that watching you and Pixielocks have so much fun with your outfits has really helped me come out of my fashion shell over the years. Thank you.

My style icon would be my mother tbh, she still has alot of clothes that were bought a decade to more than 2 decades ago and still are as good as new. Her fasion sense was amazing and we have the same body type. Its all the club party esque chiffon dresses, vintage 90s, the brown earthy tones, busy faded patterns, various office pants and silky shiny buttonups. Especially her winter stuff, wow.
My main style icons are definitely Hachi and Shion from Nana, and especially you! You give me so much inspiration for my outfits, I've been thriving and living my fashion icon era ever since I began watching your channel!
Of course I also have lots of other inspirations, such as Bratz, Winx, Myscene, Twilight, Gokinjo, Paradise Kiss, Danganronpa, and Kpop groups such as G-Idle's tomboy and nxde or Twice's recent stage looks!
