The B747-400 as 1:100 is even nicer! Had one years ago (over 25 yrs) and forget from who, but it was massive, was able to put an almost full interior in it. Can’t seem to find that scale for the bigger wide-bodies these day. If you know a place, please share. Looking to restart that hobby. ✌️👍
The stop on the taxiway right in front of the gathering of watchers/photo/videographers was a cool touch. My kid was beside himself. These 747 pilots know they got a good thing going. Given that most of these cargo flights into Calgary are in the middle of the night, a daytime arrival/departure just can't be missed.
Something about the black under the flight-deck that hits me in the gut! Nostalgia maybe 🤷♂️. Flying YYZ-LHR on AC in the livery from the 70s/80s... 😢 I miss those days! 👍✌️cheers 🍻
I live about 45 miles from the Indy airport and they fly over a couple times a week. It's amazing how quiet they are compared to other large aircraft when they fly over.
Most WS 737s are currently parked, not just the -600s. At least one -600 is in service (C-GWCY). Not sure if that's the only one. flightaware.com/live/flight/CGWCY
A big thank you to RadarBox for supporting this plane spotting video! Find out more about them here: www.radarbox.com/?referrer=AlexAviation
Nice to see a 747 at any airport because they have become so rare these days.
Good to see that the 747's are still able to fly, even if it's just a a cargo plane.
They are still the Queen of the Skies !
I don't know if Calgary ATC are always this nice, but it is good to hear controllers who are upbeat, polite and seem to be enjoying their job.
Captain Joe would love this
You might get Captain Joe on one of these flights. He is on you tube and is a Cargolux pilot.
very beautiful Queen.
Beautiful to see the spoilers, flaps, and thrust reversers in action!
Really stunning video mate! Liked!
Beautiful livery. I got this 747-400 as 1:500 model from Herpa... 🙂 Thanx for great video! 🙂

Reminds me of a NASA 747!! Love it!!
I saw that same bird fly over my house a few evenings before you got him again. Definitely cool paint job.
Great catch Alex 👍👏👌
Nice one! I remember those fire trucks after the second landing.
I saw a 747 a few days ago.
Wow what a find ! Would love to catch a 747 at yyc but all you see is west jet 737’s and AC airbuses
Cool video
Nice!

I note with interest that it's engine #4 got very sick over Churchill, and it pulled a u-turn to come back to Calgary.
I thought I saw 2 Cargo Lux jets parked next to each other on 4-4-2021 at the same loading area in this video. Must be lots of cargo to move!
When your Cargo Airline travels back in Time and then in the Future using the 777-8F
There are 747s coming in every monday and friday at around midnight
A reminder of view beautiful the 747 is in its (near-original) form.
(Love hearing YYC’s gopher colony in the background)
Would appreciate if you could include the actual date of the flight in your videos, not just the month.
Hallelujah. God bless in Jesus name. Amen.
I saw a cargolux today
Saw it fly over. Did you catch the TUI 787s yet?
Noice
Whats going on with the WestJet 737-600 fleet? They’re all in Marana for storage?!
