The running dog. When your leaving one city to another to start your new life leaving the past behind your watching out the window as the bus makes a series of turns then getting on the open highway not knowing your future it’s pretty exciting and scary at the same time.
I LOVE GREYHOUND... It's a fantastic experience, as you meet a wide range of people, and get to know them during the trip. I'd MUCH rather take Greyhound than drive myself, as from those big bus windows, you really get to enjoy what a beautiful country we live in I had a bus break down occasionally, but Greyhound took care of everything, so can honestly say, I' have never had a bad experience on Greyhound...
in 2015 my 7:15 transfer bus in Columbus OH was broken down we waited 2hrs for the mechanic to come from Toledo then after an hour couldnt fix it and all they could do was put us on next bus going west with a major layover in St Louis i said no i want another option so they said a backup bus would come in an hour not telling me there were no seats left on my next transfer bus & gave me a new ticket where id have to wait in Nashville for 8hrs worse than the other option i passed on, i had to cancel my trip & get a full refund and a free ticket back to PGH dammit
@@johnfortunato1192 hey, life is tough sometimes, and we get inconvenienced. Unless Greyhound deliberately harmed you, with gross negligence, perhaps it's best to just go with the flow. I've been on Greyhound buses that broke down too (just as your car could), and Greyhound did their best to make it right.
@@thomasjsanford9991 i was on a deadline meeting a friend who only had the weekend in Texas available and i was due in Dallas at 8:10am Friday and after all that mess in Ohio making me miss my transfers in Tenn i would not arrive till 4pm and that was too late as the things would be closed over the weekend we had scheduled all day Friday, what bullcrap - they put others on Taxicabs to make thier transfers in Cincinetti but us going elsewhere didnt have that option boooo
Greyhound has changed MUCH since then! I would rather WALK or BIKE to my destination than ride Greyhound. Flix purchased Greyhound. Greyhound has become a shi* show since the late 1990s.😡
I love St. Louis I remember my first time going my great uncle picked me up from the bus bus station and after visiting him that one time I made it a thing and go every year I drove this year because he of COVID but I’m taking the bus this year can’t wait to see my uncle and aunt.
Thanks for posting this. Had to see the greyhound trip experience. Im going to Atlanta from Dallas next week and might not wanna pay the $660 for the flight...
I love Greyhound, and my last trip with my grandson, we have an 18 hours lay over, because of the same reason, "NO BUS DRIVER" we were heading East, N.C and when we got to Atlanta Ga, we missed our conversation, so we had another 18 hours for our next bus, but I didn't mind, I meant a lot of people anytime went fast. As long as we were okay, and arrive safe and sound, and I'm going to do it again, if God's willing, I have stop because the pandemic.
OMG!!! I love theze vidz bout to get on 1 in a few days cnt wait i might make a vid like yourz when i go by the way ill be on it for 4 days from the east coast 2 da west coast
Friend thank you for your videos. I love traveling by bus. Although here in Brazil say that the country is world's most beautiful scenery we have to compare with the west coast of the USA. I wonder when we will have new videous of traveling by bus?
@PrettyGurlBankZ Good luck with your endurance attempt! :) Take as many fully charged camera batteries & chargers as you can, as at 98% of the breaks there isn't enough time to fully recharge any single battery. A little power bar (at least a 1-to-3) that can fit all your chargers onto it at the same time is also important to have, as other passengers will want to charge their phones, too. You'll be kept too busy to feel bored by the long ride-and that's probably a good thing. Good luck!
I love the Old Steam powered trains, but AmTrak is almost as expensive as flying, and usually takes longer than Greyhound, so why would anybody waste their money?
I'm a train buff, but passenger train service here in the US is rediculous. Amtrak costs as much as flying, and takes longer than Greyhound, primarily because Amtrak doesn't own any of the track, but uses rail lines that are owned by the major railroad companies, and FREIGHT trains have priority.
I don't understand. So when you get to ur station to switch buses, you go in the waiting room and check in or do you buy another ticket at the counter?? Plz help my girl friend is goin on a greyhound by herself and I'm freakin out
Whether you buy the ticket online (usually much cheaper) or walking up to a Greyhound ticket counter, your origin-to-destination ticket will contain all the ticket coupons needed to get on each additional connecting bus down the line (if connections are needed to get to the destination). The terminal seating (often on hard metallic chairs these days) is for the passengers "comfort" (as long as the passengers changes sitting position often :D) does have a ticket counter as well, but this doesn't mean one has to buy a new ticket every time one sees a ticket counter. Happy travels!
One way is to just look lost. Security will ask to see your ticket so they know you're entitled to go into the waiting room. They'll also tell you the door number and the time if you prefer not to read this info printed on the next tear-off coupon on your ticket.
Tony Gomes I fly United Myself. Won’t touch anyone else. American I always thought was to high and delta lost my bags made me miss my connection and got me home late on my first trip and my second one wasn’t much better. First a delayed flight them had to stay over night in Ohio then had an emergency landing and my bags got routed thru salt lake and we’re 5 hours behind me into Oklahoma City lol.
The last time I was in the St. Louis greyhound station it was way different. Did they move the station in the last 10 years or just really overhaul it.
they relocated the station in the early 2000's to a better part of the city, in the 80's/90's it was in east St louis like the ghetto/crime area and we were told to not stray from the station during layovers lol
@joshalex93 igot back from mah trip about a week ago it was from philadelphia pa 2 oakland ca... that trip sad nd happy at the same time ... iwas on a prevost during most of my trip the only problem is that the tv s dnt work nitether did the plugs...but once igot 2 reno nv i got on a very new one without tv s but plugs that worked nd seat belts nd finnaly some heat!!! by the way the trip took 4 days
Flying is better driving is boring and time consuming I just flew to Las Vegas took me 1 hour and 10 min if I drove would of took 9 hours so flying is alot better
I love buses cause I get to see land and nature and its just so awesome!

I can easily afford a first class on United but the Greyhound experience is far more exciting. I love it.

Awesome, these coaches are quieter, and run smoothly, and have powerful automatic transmission now. Awesome!

I like riding on the bus it is peaceful don t have to worry about driving leave it to the driver.
By being so narrow-minded, you are missing out on a fantastic experience....
Greyhound is FUN!!
Last Summer had a two-hour layover in St Louis because they couldn't find a driver

I prefer train but bus has its advantages. I hate flying....like coffins in the sky.
