  • This track was finished last year and I was trying to get buy in from One Little Indian ,who still own the rights to the track even though The Shamen are now managed by Moksha. Moksha were very helpful in pointing me in the direction of OLI and even fave'd the track on soundcloud (yay!). Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts to contact them, I have not heard a peep, so I have made it public. It does mean however that, due to the delay, the original description below is no longer valid anymore so please read it as if it were last year.
Having rediscovered my Progen91 - Maxi CD Single [14trax - 16 samples & Beats] (Original £7.99 till recepit still in the CD inlay) I realised that it is 20 years since this monster was originally released but also since the tragic and untimely death of Will Sinnott.
I decided to create this remix primarily to honour and remember Will but also try and reawaken this giant of electronica. It has layed dormant for far too long and really needs this generation to realise there is a whole lot more to electronica than DnB and heavy dubstep (blah!).
My interpretation of this monster is more ambient and chilled out than the original but in a way that (I hope) remains true to the original. As it says on the inlay of the CD, in their own words... "We are sick of remixing this f**ker - So here are the bits. Go do it yourself!"
Any feedback good, bad, constructive always welcome. Many thanks for showing an interest. Ownership, copyright and all Interlectual Propert Rights of the original video belong to One Little Indian. No copyright infingement is intended in using the clip in my video, I just wanted to stay faithful to the original.

Thanks for checking this out, I am please you like it. The remix parts I used were from my original Progen Maxi CD, i sampled them off it and used them to put the mix together adding my own effect and additioal drum stuff. Since they released them in that format, I see no reason why anyone would complain if I zipped them up and made them avaialble for you if you want them to download and do your own. Let me know and I'll sort them for you. Cheers for your support. Much appreciated. PT 8)

I'm usually a little hesitant on seeing remixes of songs from the early 90s, but damn if this isn't amazing. Well done.

Cheers fella, I don't get much activity on here so it's always nice to get a new message. Chuffed that you liked my take on it. I still wish I could get the production and mastering right on it but hey-ho. One day. Thanks for your support. All the best. PT 8)
