If you get rushed, LOCK DOWN YOUR BASE, build units and then you'll be able to counter rush them pretty easy once you've stored a nice juicy army in your base.
From experience I find it better to do this build order when sentinel rushing: Generator, supply pad, supply pad, marines supply pad, supply pad. Claim mini base and build generator. Then take power points with 3 marines cause they help a lot. Plus it makes it so your base isn't sitting there doing nothing. Then claim a second base as you're building sentinels and it works it's pretty alright.
*Fights an enemy ai on easy* yeah these sentinels are of course op there, not on heroic and up, or against players that rush you while making sentinels

Got a myth busters for you Comparing a cobra planted vs in vehicle mode I know the burst of the one shot is great and all but if the DPS of the vehicle mode is as good or close then would it make sense to always plant them?
oh you've probably just got the definitive addition because I can tell you now cobras do more DPS when they aren't stationed to light vehicles like the warthogs and wraiths but to heavy obviously you'd rather have then stationed but if they're in a group like a full population of cobras you can literally run in without using its static ability and I will wreck but when they are stationed they get more armor dude to their first upgrade reflecting plates is what it's called I think . they're pretty squishy. like a grizzly against a cobra under its static position will lose yes a grizzly shoots often but the plates will bounce the grizzlies attack vs cobra will kill it in three shots vs non static cobra would die in 3 hits plus canister shell. just experience no myth
Zev29 Estevez I get that I've been playing halo wars for a while but what I'm asking is testing to see how fast they kill a unit in their different stages and if the time difference is almost nonexistent then it almost makes no sense to lock it down I understand that it has bonus armor and range locked down but say you stumbled across the enemies grizzlies for example maybe only locking down the ones immediately in the front or back or even not at all because it takes time to lock down and you can't fire plus we've all seen the cobras scurry around doing nothing when you said lock down
turrets are worthless in this strategy. get the sentinels a shield instead. they die so quick that restoration drones are also a waste and they are cheap enough that you can rebuild an army instead of trying to heal the one you have. if you get the retriever is will immensely help out with hoards of vehicles or infantry. if you don't use this to win early what is your backup strategy? Anders really doesn't have units powerful enough to compete in the end game.

Gypsy Mind Trik Alright listen -As soon as you start a game unlock your passive power(this will make upgrades faster) - Also buy a jacket rabbit to go across the map and collect resources - Put 2 supply pads on the base and upgrade them immediately as soon as they are built -Get your marines to collect resources as well ( you wanna keep collecting resources with your marines and Jackrabbit till there's nothing left on the map. it's very important) - Once this all in the progress you want make a generator your third building, then immediately following up with a supply pad and another generator. - When the clock says 2:00 you have to build a HQ Base(this is super important) - Then at the 3:00 minute mark when you get to your point to unlock your sents do it. and start pumping your sents from both of your main HQ Bases. - It's also important to know that the enemy will go after your 2nd base at 3:45 depending how good they are. You'd wanna have your friend protect your Secound base. - You'd still wanna collect power and resources with you 2 marines and Jackrabbit. Also important to know that you'd wanna find out what your enemy is doing by scouting them to see if they are rushing. If they are make one turret at a time at your main base at the back of the base. The turrets at the back have the same range as the ones in the front and they are safer and less volanerable for attack. - Also to know if you are doing a sent rush and the enemy player is using Isabelle. Your fucked and I would cancel your sent rush and do something elese, because her level 1 Mac blast can destroy 15 sents in a blink of an eye level. It's the funniest thing ever😂😂😂

This shit is way too fucking overpowered in this game... It decimates everything from wolverine armies, reaver armies , everything! It's the most shittiest cheapest slap in the face to other players it's so pathetic and you even admitted to how this army is overpowered! Wtf!!!! The only other thing that is almost as shitty as this is the infantry rushes...... Yet.... A scarab in this game can barely shoot down ONE unit and on top of that it dies so fucking fast it can't even withstand a fucking army ..... Something a scarab is MEANT to do, something it did perfectly in halo wars 1 . This is such bullshit

Luke Seiver see in the first game , people tended to rush warthogs. But atleast you had to actually build a reactor first and then actually buy the upgrades to give the warthog a turret ,their shooting capability to begin with. in this game, jackrabbits are technically the replacement to fullfill that niche the warthog did in the first game, so people make jackrabbit rushes, BUT heres the problem they are automatically given the ability to SHOOT, no reactor upgrades or shooting ability purchase or anything required which is stupid. with infantry, back then you had to make a barracks to make any marines, now you are just given the ability right off the bat. on top of this overpowered infantry ability, they take jackals with BEAM RIFLES out of the equation which leaves you with barely any countermeasures to this infantry rush tactic. and you can't say "well elite rangers or human snipers are the counter measure" because first of all you need to get to the second reactor power before you can even make them out of your barracks or raid camp. and also elite rangers are good but not good enough, they are equivalent to jackals in the first game with NO upgrades at all (no shield gauntlet or beam rifles etc) so they can't dispatch infantry as fast as beam rifle jackals were capable of, so it leaves the player at a severe disadvantage when trying to counter a huge infantry army. did we not learn anything from the small mistakes of halo wars 1?
realhalofan i agree, they did do alot of things right on this game but theres a bit bad too and you pointed out quite a bit of it the main thing tht just pisses me off is you have too get an army out right off the start no matter what cause theres no defense at all in this game for the most part turrents do help but they can only do so much but im just so used to the first one tht its taking me awhile to adjust too how its so fast paced which games this are not really supposed to be 80% of the matches i play are done in 20 to 30 mins with 3v3 and on the first one those fuckers went forever so they need to do something with this shit yeah rushing is part of the game but on this one its pretty much the main focus point

And for me dude, I was always that person with my teammates that I would be the defender, I would preserve our units and buildings and I would make cobra defenses everywhere etc. so this game urks me in the sense that what ever i build, I literally can kiss it goodbye, I do not expect it to live and that pisses me off because to perfect the game i enjoyed learning how to keep my units alive and defending locations, this game like you said focuses on getting a massive infantry army out right away and sweeping the map.... to win it's bullshit imo
the sentinel synergy upgrade is a necessity for a sentinel strategy. it gives all sentinels (including the retriever) shields

If you manage your economy just right you can have two turrets and a siege on each of your two bases, and fully upgraded sentinels by 13 minutes.
Sentinels are my favorites.
