Not many locals wander around the neighborhood of Pasil or Duljo Fatima in Mambaling. You are a brave soul indeed exploring the crowded place. I hope the city clears up the narrow streets with vendors. I've set foot in Duljo when I was a kid since it is closeby the Cebu Jai-alai building and the main street in lined with lechon inasal stores.
Hi Handsome, you’ve been photo shooting these past few vlogs (smile) And drinking red horse beer, one of my favorite beers. Anyway this place is nice and the people are beautiful and friendly as you are to them. Always enjoy watching your videos, keep it up. May God bless, guide and protect you always. From Chicago USA
I like watching Tom's videos. My wife and I used to walk around Cebu, Batangas, and other places. It's always different when my wife is with me. She is Filipino and I'm white. It's much more like Tom's adventures when I'm by myself or with a male of my wives family. Filipino people are some of the best people in the world.
Great video Tom, loved it. keep up with those types of Video, sure you'll have an audience to watch. Take care, stay safe. cheers 🍻 from Australia 🇦🇺. BTW, I'll be in Negro's occidental this October & planning a trip to Bantayan Island, plus a visit to Dumaguete.
this is what the shops are like in Wildwood New Jersey in the summer lots of shops close together selling everything you have to have to have certain personally to visit here you need to friendly but if walk thru here and just stare and don't say anything you won't be welcomed
It's all right visiting them areas but believe me you wouldn't want to live there I've been working with Phillipinos for twenty year's on ships and have visited many in there home town's while they can be the best there's always a few on drink and drug's that can take a dislike to you
In the Philippines you get what you vibe off. Respect people and you get a lot of respect back but be an asshole then don't expect people to be nice to you. Universal common sense.
Hey Tom it's been a while since we spoke I'm still loving all your video's buddy also your channel with Meljean I'll be coming over to Cebu in July hopefully I'll get chance to see you keep up the good work Tom for now take care and stay safe my fellow countryman. 🇬🇧🙂🇵🇭
Maybe post a map of location of each area your visiting so we can enjoy your videos and see where the areas are.... this one was ok kinda was waiting for someone to ride by and snatch your camera that's what we have to deal with in my area which has really messed up living in the usa.... maybe you should use a mounted camera so your hands are free.
I'm in cebu to got here on boat from mindinao staying at a hotel. I agree fillipino people so friendly I've never seen so many security guards in my life lol. Would be good to link up do a vlogg together or have a 🍺
yes they are friendly but dont undes istimate people here they dont do small crime they do big crime like ambushing goverment trust me back in 2017 multiole govermnwt got killed in here and multiole drug lords get killed
even locals were kinda scared to go around that Duljo Famitma, well done being friendly. that place gets more interesting during the night time if you know what I mean lo
Sir, It's GOOD to support local. Just be careful with your money (cash) and be aware. It's good to be nice but don't over do it. Thank you for choosing Cebu. Take good care, enjoy Cebu, and be aware of your money. 💰 Thank you so much!
Going to the Philippines over the years…and knowing what I know about other cultures(Arabic/Latin mostly)…I’ve come to realize a big difference in the Filipino “hospitality”. If you go to an Arabic or a Latin country, yes the level of violence is extremely above and beyond that of the Philippines, any hospitality that you will encounter is purely for the sake of sharing something with you. In the Philippines, 100% of the time, the hospitality always comes with “but can you help me po?”. I have to say, this is just my own experience of being a 6’2, 300lb cologne smelling Cuban with tattoos all over his body. Meaning, I attract a different Kind of attention in the Philippines than maybe the average Middle aged Joe. I’m sure that has a lot to do with it. I love the Philippines so much that I CHOSE to have children with a Filipina. Also I always do everything I can to give back to the country. So what I’m saying is purely just to share my experience, and because I hate fake people. So please be careful people, don’t be lulled into a false sense of security because bloggers are always saying how friendly people are. Yea they are friendly, but only because they see you as a walking peso, and as a hopeful future bf/son in law that will elevate their social status. In Latin American/Arabic countries, they would be insulted if you offer them money after they invite you to a meal. I guess that’s better than killing your like they do in Usa/Latin America/Arab countries lol
Perception is everything! I think people in general are nice; some just hide their true emotions depending on how they PERCEIVED you to be. As in every culture, there are good things and bad things. As a Filipina, I do feel offended that we are only after the money. My clan always help and offer food to strangers and not expecting anything. That’s how I grew up and when I came to the US, I see the difference. Of course, there will always be opportunists and they are the aggressive ones that overpower the good things that hospitable people do. It’s their noise that is presented in the MSM. Glad that Tom showed that there are generally good people around. That gives us hope for humanity. Good vibes is EVERYTHING!
Have you ever seen Dustin backpacks 🎒 you tube ? He’s from USA 🇺🇸 n he went to visit the Philippines 🇵🇭 he stayed with a friend cause he couldn’t return to the USA during the pandemic 😷 he ended up falling in love w his friends sister Reche n now they are dating he travels all over the world 🌎 but considers the Philippines 🇵🇭 his second home 🏡
I’m really enjoying these videos po. Thank you for showing the real side of Cebu. Everyone is so friendly. I love how you assimilate to the culture. You are very friendly and respectful. More videos please 😊🙏
Hey Tom. I was just told by a Filipina. That if I was not in the country in the past two years. They will not let me enter the country. Wondering if there's any truth to this? If you're in the no could you tell us how to get into the country. I'm sure you get asked this a lot. Thanks your power mark from Florida
the country was closed to tourism last year, no one could enter unless youre filipino or have a filipina spouse......and now it has opened up again with lesser restrictions, she wasnt lying.
There's always the good and bad in everyone ..in any culture. I've seen it so we cannot assume the extremes. There are the genuinely good people & there are opportunists everywhere in any country. Then again people will react in kind towards others..if one is haughty or snobbish people will react to that negatively & if you are friendly enough you'll get the good vibes. Live & learn..
They might watch your channel.. maybe thats how they know you like Red horse..... first time i ever watch you .... You was drinking Red Horse about 2 years ago...
I'm sure they bump the prices up because you are a "Snow Man". The kids seem friendly, but can see they try to play you. Doesn't MJ get jealous by the female attention you get? No Tampo when she sees the videos?
Cool content. I like seeing the real philipines

It's the same with bald and bankrupt. If you act like you belong in the area, then people assume you're too high profile to do anything to.
Brilliant video again Tom..
