Quick context about the Frieza one shooting both Goku and Vegeta. They were tired asf, they were fighting new characters name Gas and Granolah who both became strongest by using the dragon balls on granolah planet to gain all the power they would have acquire through out their whole life span rn at a cost of there life span shortening .
For ex. Granolah can live for 200 years but the wish gave him all the power of his life span, the cost was that now he would live for 3 more year and that's it. Basically the same for Gas
Frieza was in another dimension outside of the universe 7 for 10 years training to defeat both Goku and Vegeta but he left both of them after he one shot them and also Gas who wished to become the most powerful in the universe got one shot by Frieza in his 3 form before he turned into black frieza
I’m pretty sure they were fully healed when frieza showed up I could be wrong
