Tiny Schindler Traction Elevators - Avenida Arriaga 34, Funchal, PT

Two tiny Schindler designS elevators in a commercial building right in the heart of Funchal! I've been wanted to film these elevators when I visited Funchal a few times back in late 2019 but everytime I went here the time wasn't always good for me, but now I finally able to film these when I had the chance to visit the city again in late 2021.
Very typical 1980s-1990s Schindler designS elevators with yet again my all time favorite Schindler fixtures; S-Series with its distinctive clicky buttons and scrolling LED indicators, awesome! Sadly the inside indicator uses the "fading" number effect but the exterior indicators on the ground floor use the standard scrolling effect, not only that but they also come with scrolling arrows upon arriving which I really loved it! On other floors there are only direction arrows on the call button panel whict act as hall lanterns. And speaking of arrows, for some reason the ground floor landing indicators show a down arrow instead of up even though none of the elevators serve the basement floor. At one time one of these indicators also shows an intermediate arrow for no clear reason, like you see near the end of the video shortly after I exited the left elevator. This usually happens when the elevator is free and has no further calls to serve, but this will only happens on intermediate floors and both elevators don't serve the basement. Not sure why they did that but I'm assuming it's probably a glitch.
As usual, Schindler maintains these elevators and they seem to be well maintained. No signs of defects or serious issues, except probably the ground floor landing indicator arrow issues which I personally consider it as a minor issues. Acceleration is quick with harsh start, slow down and stop which is very typical of Schindler designS elevators.
