I have three of this Uberti Winchester 73 in 44-40,. I' m realy satisfied of the Qualität and the fine done Details on them. Even the scews are not as Bad as discribed. I think it is important to juse the right screwdriver to prevent damage. Over all i'm very happy as well with some other Staff I own, Sharps, Henry 1860, Winchester 1886 and some SAA 73ts in different Cal. With best regards from Germany, Walter
Uberti is a great and beautiful rifle and the same with Pedersoli when it comes to the Winchester a have to say that I was disappointed by the stock on it but Winchester pre 64 are great but when it comes to new rifles i would go with Pedersoli, Uberti "Taylor" and Marlin, but I have to say that those 3 Winchester that I am familiar with was the special edition with "gold" and those was chamber in 44-40 and 2 in 30-30 the first that was weird was the weight of them, they was very lightweight
Thank you, great review!
