Try this, when you put the biner on your finger to start figure 8, grab the other end and put that loop on your finger too. You will now be figure 8’ing two lines at once. When you get it all done, take it off your hand, grab that biner and pull off about 8 inches, go around two or three times and you’re done. 40’ is now effectively 20’, takes half as long and still deploys tangle free.
