I thought you were being generous. It might be worth you going further afield around Britain and try some local traditional British food and drink. Tag along with the macmaster on one of his long trips.

My recent exsperience of that establishment was avoid at any cost. My food took 35 minutes to arrive after I paid at the bar. My exspensive beer took 10 minutes to arrive and was warm. Meal was over cooked it was like eating a swetty sock left at gym in a locker fermenting, for months, discusting food. THE WOLF AT THE DOOR, does every thing opposite to what customers expect when paying for over priced food that's bulked out with cheap beans, cucumbers and those slices of individual plastic coated slices of cheese. I found traces of the plastic wrapping with my melted cheese beliving they never removed all the plastic wrapping. Service was allso not good. Like many other customers I walked away leaving most of every thing I had purchased. Can't belive the place has customers they have to be tourists on a first visit there for sure.

Don’t know why you would give it a score of 6.5 as that is equivalent to above average. I would have given it a 2 / 2.5 max. Waiting 20 minutes for your food, if the restaurant is busy can be acceptable but if what comes out isn’t any good then the time waiting was just wasted time. Did you show the manager the food and complain? If people don’t complain at the time of getting the food, there is little that the restaurant can do about it as they probably aren’t aware. If we complain and make them aware of the sun standard food quality, they can perhaps correct it the next time a customer orders the same thing.

I think you should have gone with the street food that looked delicious. That slop looked disgusting after the long wait. Even the brisket sandwich was minuscule. I think a 1 would have been too generous.

Melted cheese when it cools will cause the fries to stick together. Not sure why it's a problem. If it was red hot from the kitchen it would have more stretchy stringiness to it plus you're outside so it will cool off faster. I wouldn't say it was the worst thing I've ever seen.
