Hi @Mia Uy thank you for stopping by and leaving me such lovely feedback. I'm so glad you enjoyed these DIYs I hope you give it a go. Have a great week!
Hi Paula, fabulous idea!! I have done a painted ginger jar project, but will have to give something like this a try too!! So creative, thanks for sharing! (And so great to hear another Aussie!) 🥰
OMG, that was ingenious. I love your thinking out of the box. The Ginger jar dupe is definitely something I will be doing. Being a big lover of Chinoiserie and my favorite decorating style, this will be a good addition to my Living Room. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work.
Again, it so inspiring. Out of nothing something so lovely. Are both styles of the chinosserie pattern available from Spotlight? I think DFO would carry it! Thank you again.
Hi Fritula, when we are out of lockdown :( go to NEXTRA or Celebrations newsagent/general home store - they stock beautiful designs in napkins and that is where I found my dark blue napkin. The light blue napkin that I cut up into pieces was definitely from Spotlight. Also check out the dollar stores, they sometimes have fabulous designed napkins too. Thanks for your lovely words! I appreciate it. Have a good Fathers Day.
Hello @TH-camAnnoying , if you use mod podge or an acrylic sealant it should protect your items outside. It is not totally waterproof for a long period of time however so consider using a sealant for wet weather. Have a great week.
Ginger jars aren't that expensive at all from early settler. Just bought a whole heap, especially with their sales on now which makes it even more affordable from $6.
Kmart carry a product De-Solv-it (citrus base) approx $10. This removes all glue and cooking oil. I discovered that this is a cleaner for all things made with Laminex. I clean the laminex with soapy water, twice to remove all dirt (a must), when dry l pass over with this product. The laminex around and above the stove and oven get a lot of oil marks, and splashes. This product helps to clean these oily marks, which soapy water will not. Do not dilute! The Laminex seems be made from the same component as the product. It works.
Wow! Great idea and beautifully done! Thank you

Very helpful thank you. To get rid of the glue and label on jars, try acetone.
