As someone who was raiding since 2005 and today and leading myself a team of 18 individuals in real life I am deeply impressed by Amphy's ability to keep a cool head even in the most chaotic moments, to have an intangible view of the overall situation, and to not only reach his team members with precise commands, but to gain their full trust. Simply remarkable and I pay you my utmost respect! Each Raid which I try follow on Twitch is pure entertainment!

Calm, smooth voice, demanding high standards, direct communication, respectful, good under pressure, if things get heated you’re good at taking control and salvage the situation, willing to take calculated risks, seemingly decent man management. There’s many work places that could use those qualities.
The thrill of your character’s literal life on the line while simultaneously leading 40 of your hand picked comrades is such a treat to watch Amphy. Its hard to understand the pressure of even one mistake or miscommunication by Amphy as the shotcaller can mean someone’s character’s unfortunate death. Bravo to everyone in Frontier putting in the work and rest in glory to the two that fell that night in Naxxaramus.

I agree with another poster, I raided under many decent raid leaders, but Ahmpy is excellent. Four Horsemen and Kel’Thezud will be a test though.
Agreed. Back in the day when everything was still being learned. Little to no strats, unknown loot tables etc. With HC you have the advantage of tons of addons telling u the strat in detail

At the end he said there was a death, is it not in this video or did I miss it? Only saw hunter FDs and a couple times there were empty spots in the raid, but didn't actually see anyone die.
A warrior died during their BWL run. No one died during the Naxx run. And then one more player from their guild died but he was not a part of the raid.
they had 2 deaths and didnt do a full clear, but maybe we'll see it in the coming weeks or months. doubt they want to go KT too fast or they lose their members and lose their shot at world first hc kt. need to get them geared.

Plus nax isn't easy by any means. Like if you want to efficiently clear it takes some decent coordination...it may not be hard cause of mechanics but it's not easy where you just pull shit and don't think
If you're referring to Anub'rekhan then he never touches the slime, he runs along the outside of the room to keep raid members out of the nasty aoe the boss has at that point. You can see it tick on the main tank for over two and a half thousand several times.
I have hired leaders for several positions. If you send me this video in your application you would most likely be the nr.1 choice before the next progress steps.
Tanking is fairly straight forward and uncomplicated, you are able to move the boss as needed in the moment, and otherwise you are mostly stationary. All of this lets you see more of the full picture of the fight. I was a raid lead tank for a long time and playing a warrior as a raid lead was kinda simple. Mash heroic strike and shield block on cooldown, check if Demo shout or tclap needs to be up. Maintaining threat was simple, all of my brainpower could be used watching the raid members move, boss abilities land on the ground, etc.
I would never bother with HC because a connection/technical issue/z-axis hit range bug could nuke all your progress, but it does seem much more fun when the stakes are this high.
Well for those who raided in classic its honestly felt similar cause of buffs. You're on edge and nobody wants to die or the fun is over. Except you know I don't need to spend 100 hours again leveling if I do die...
@@ykonratev People who made serious effort to collect buffs are pathetic. Does it matter if you clear MC in 2 hours or 1h 45 min? You actually waste more time collecting world buffs than you save by having them on. And vanilla is so easy you don't need them, or BiS items even.
they basically did the easy bosses. trying get some early naxx gear maybe even trash epics. these ones arnt really hard dps/heal/tank checks so just do the mechs and its basically free loot.

I have no interest in playing HC WoW but I do know what it is and what the stakes are, that makes it very impressive to watch you lead this raid.
Not really any stakes for most people due to Petri flask. HUGE blizzard L for not taking it out of the game.

They're on hard-core, so if they die they can't just respawn. So they have to be very careful to progress when they're ready/geared
