Reminds me a lot of my Boker Strike. Same steel but Boker gives you an aluminum handle and is very snappy. I'll probably still buy the Claymore, but I've really lost a lot of appeal towards Benchmade in the last several years. Prices are too high and quality is nowhere near what you get in some other brands in the same or lesser price point category. I will say, they stand behind their warranty though. I just sent in my Infidel for warranty work as the action all but died on it. Blade wobble was so bad it sounded like a box of skittles. They performed the warranty with no hassle. Good as new!
Great feedback thank you! 🙏 I agree somewhere along the line BM just got more expensive and quality could be improved. I think they're pricing themselves out of the marketplace on some models and potentially losing first time buyers.
Probably next year 2024. Next month Benchmade is coming out with the 9071BK-1 and 9071SBK-1 claymore (full size, tanto blade, with or without serrations).

Do you think they will serrate this?
