No matter how sick this man was he never let on how bad he felt. He fought so hard, and he won the battle. The cancer died, but Toby is more alive than ever. That man won the battle, and now he’s got a new body, and he’ll never get that nasty word cancer again. This isn’t a goodbye, it’s just a see you later. Now he’s up there singing his songs to the brave men and women that made the sacrifice to keep us free. ❤

That's right ,alcohol is what killed him because it gave my fiance who passed away a little over a year with pancreatic cancer. She died before her 61 birthday that was coming up in the next month. She drank a lot of beer all the time and other alcohol beverages. People please listen if you drink ,please stop now because it is poison!!! I cannot tell you enough that it will kill you!! Toby Keith ,liked to drink his beer and alcohol and that's what took his life! They said he had stomach cancer ,which was in his pancreas. It's so sad I am 63 years old and I'm battling pancreatitis now and have been for months and I don't even drink. But I was told that because of having pancreatitis , I have a higher chance of getting pancreatic cancer. Everyone ,Jesus is closer to coming more than we could ever imagine so please change your lives and accept him and start living for him before it's too late. @@Crusader1984Nope . No one can definitely affirm that , scientifically! Anyone can have stomach cancer. A friend of mine never drinks alcohol and he had been throughout couple of surgeries. @@Crusader1984 You don't know that. Just because he did some drinking that doesn't mean he did it regularly. I know a man who is 103 yo and drinks every day his entire life. Again, I know another man who's easily 80 yo and he drinks regularly too. I know more people who died from cancer that never smoked or drank than I do people who did. Drinking usually gets the liver first.
My life has been better because of this man! Great music, awesome patriotism, and always supportive of U.S service members. RIP to a true American Legend. 😔

I'm an old Black woman who loved this man's music. It was not just my childhood but my entire life. Allmy best memories I can't remember were because of him. Wish he'd gotten his flowers while he wasa here. He did a lot for service men adn bars that stayed open all night.

As a whole I'm very biased if an artist doesn't write their own music. Just a deep seated thing with me. Your Husband was my favorite singer/song writer of all time and that's coming from someone who appreciates all genres even rap. In my opinion he was the best. I'm in tears :( he was one of my favorite country singers. So many good songs. I remember during covid times he was uploading live performances of songs people requested him to to sing and he took my request "As Good As I Once Was" :) I will miss him a lot. I lost my Mom after a 9 yr fight back in '89, at 55. Cancer is a brutal disease that doesn't care who it goes after. Our nephew had cancer at 4 months and I have pics of Toby holding him when he was about 2. Toby did so much for kids with cancer. RIP Toby, thank you for the music legacy you left with us, we will miss you.

My dad and I got to meet Toby at a place where they made CDs; this was when he came out with "Does That Blue Moon Ever Shine on You?" in 1996. Not only did he play an acoustic version of that song, but he also signed an autographed copy of his self-titled CD for me. He was a very down-to-earth man. May Toby rest in peace. 😢

saw an interview he did back in december, he reminded me of my dad who passed away from cancer. prayers to his family and loved ones, fans and those who just discover his music. as i said about my father, he didnt lose the fight to cancer, he kicked its ass. and now he can finally rest from that battle. god bless you toby keith, thanks for the songs that defined my childhood and young adulthood.

I hadn’t seen his last interview until today and you could tell he had cancer (if you didn’t know) bc of how skinny he was! His legs were so tiny 😮😢. Brought back all the sad memories of my parents who died of cancer. I was lucky to be their caregiver though so that I treasure. It’s hard seeing them lose so much weight and become frail (esp at a young age).
