Gotta be honest with y'all... this is now my favorite opening song in the series, I keep coming back to this song more than any other song in the series (even after Kuro II) this is just so catchy it won't get get out of my head no matter what!
I can see why this can be a favourite, Singa did really nice job with this op. To me this is his second best opening after CS4's. Kuro 2's sucked tho imo
The replayability is strong with this arc, not just for new game+, but with the different party members that are aligned with different factions (Bracers, Heiyue, Ouroboros, etc etc etc)
Eh.. no, not really. The only thing replayable is Chapter 5 and for a few extra scenes and interactions depending on which one you choose. Also because there are achievements for siding with each of them. That's basically all the replicability the game has. That one chapter. In all honestly, Kuro is, probably, the worst NG+ experience in the series thanks to how badly designed the NG+ bonuses are. Unlike previous entries which are modular so you can choose specifically what you want to carry over NG+, in Kuro they bundle them all in 3 options, meaning if you want something like All the recipes, or all Quartz, or your Alignment level, you will be forced to bring your levels, items, and stuff like that. It basically screw you over and tells you: If you want to play NG+, either carry over nothing and play it like if it was a brand new save, or carry over something and screw your experience as you will now be an unkilable God who one shots everything. No in between.
@@taigaaisaka6305 That's why most people use NG+ for the Nightmare runs in these games. Because when you finish the game first time you're ridiculously OP.
Only now I've realized that it says "Shout out loud, get back, get down" in English. I thought it was something in Japanese. But this is a genuinely cool song
Funny you say that considering Tatsuhiko Yoshida sings on the remix of the song on the Kuro Super Ultimate album and if you didn't know he's part of Project R. and did the opening for Lupinranger VS Patranger.
Same after kanakote is not the main singer... i do feel the OP song is weird only some of the BGM like a whirlwind in hajimari and step up also to the future that is interesting. finally this is great stuff. but crimson sin looking like CS3 -4 OP vibes again sigh. not like its bad but it does feel weird.
It works in the content of the situation, but I think it shows that the OST is on the weaker side, when they have to reuse one of the good tracks for the final boss.
this is pretty good, still waiting for release in West but not before Reverie, also is it just me or does the quality seem lower compared to the OP of the previous series? Edit: 05/07/2024 FINALLY HERE.
I like it well enough (I actually prefer it to No End No World). What I'm not so sure of is (SPOILER BELOW)... ...the choice to use it for the final boss. It's not quite the same as what the past 3 games did (using previous BGM for the last boss), but it's still pretty similar. I guess I just prefer when the last phase of the final boss has their own personal BGM.
I mean, it was only used for the second phase of the final battle. The first phase _does_ have it's own personal theme that may actually sound _better_ than this for some people, myself included.
Personally I thought it was great cause of what had just happened moments prior to the phase starting. Felt like a great final push to the end of an already great journey
8.5/10 this is an good opening but it just doenst hit as hard as all the openings that came before this one,but it is better than the opening for kuro 2
Unironically the only music worth listening in Kuro. So weird to say that when the previous games all had so many good tracks, and often (but not always) had opening songs that were in reverse at best serviceable. Kuro is an upgrade to the previous sub series in almost every single aspects (and in some area it's massive improvements even), but the change in composer has really hurt the music department overall. Bangers and beautiful tracks were replaced by serviceable tracks, and some of them are also way too short for the amount of time they run in game so they can feel extremely repetitive too. But this one slaps ImO.
I would argue that unmitigated kino exists, but other than that the OST for Kuro is pretty lackluster. Unfortunately Crimson Sin was one step forward, two steps back in that regard.
What the actual fuck? No. You're just straight-up wrong in every way. Did you even PLAY this game? You're just being disingenuous. This game has a ton of good tracks.
@@gibranalfil9881 Italian anime openings are often filled with Engrish, especially those sung by Giorgio Vanni (except for the Naruto openings, those are fully in Italian and are also awesome, go listen to them NOW). They do that in Japan too? Though, once you get used to Engrish, it's not that bad. Yeah, I'd prefer if there wasn't, but it's OK.

The moment the opening started to play the Final Boss stood no chance.
did Van's self-buffing craft irl when it started playing

My favorite song of the series so far, so good!
Just got the platinum yesterday. Definitely my favorite opening from the series. Excited for the localized release of the sequel and Ys X Nordics
Coming here to prep up for July 5th. So hype to play it!
My favourite Trails opening, just barely beats out Beyond the Journey.
I get mild tokusatsu vibes from this and the game in general, really...
I mean, Grendel, Grimcat do give off big Tokusatsu energy...
Funny you say that considering Tatsuhiko Yoshida sings on the remix of the song on the Kuro Super Ultimate album and if you didn't know he's part of Project R. and did the opening for Lupinranger VS Patranger.
With AmaLee in the English dub (as Agnes), I hope she does an English cover of this song.
Seconded.
If she duets with Damien Haas (who is a terrific singer), that would be aces.
WHAT Amalee is Agnes!?! HOLY I just beat this game yesterday (JPN version) now I gotta replay this in dub
Wait, that was her? Felt like I had heard the voice but couldn't put my finger on it.
Guy has a non sword that turns into a sword when need be, gotta love
Stun Caliber, I'm guessing it's like a stun baton but for anime heroes.
Just beat the game yesterday now looking up ost as I always do such a good game
We driving through the hood with this one 🔥🔥🔥
Its finally announced for the west!
Played it finished it with translation last year but will still grab the English version like I always do with every Trails game!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Kinda wish this game had an actual final boss theme (as well as epilogue themes). I'm glad Calvard's sequels rectified this, though!
This song is awesome
i remember hearing 1:57 at the final battle and just pausing so i could jam out
This track is fucking FIRE
Not as good as beyond the journey, ashita no kiseki, seize the day and no end no world but better than crimson sin,and yes, this track is fire
Thank you to whoever liked this comment, because now I'm listening to this banger again rofl
i like this one better, CS 3, 4 and Hajimari's OP wasn't bad but it didn't really click to me
glad that this one is step up
Me too. It's even worse for me, since Azure, CS1-4, and Hajimari wasn't a hit on my mind. After Sky SC and Zero, this is the best one in my mind now.
I think the one in CS4 will forever be my personal favorite, but dang do I love this one too

@@TrueLucinova CS3-4 openings are good boss themes at least
This is Singa's second best opening after CS4's imo. I didn't like CS3 or Reveries songs, they were mid asf

Still a damn good opening, one of the few W's that Singa manage to make out of the mess of this ost

Far better opening than Reverie's, it's not better than his CS4 op but it's still pretty good. Very nice
Also makes a good final boss theme 😁
Not my fav, but still love it
Which one is your fav? Falcom's known for doing great stuff, so I'm kind of curious at the specific answer.
@@issou9253 I agree, they always doing great at making ost
my fav opening is aoki negai (ao no kiseki evolution)
This gave me BLEACH feelings idk why

raito naw is kinda badass..
Finally a banger opening after 3 consecutive mid ones.
Cold steel 4 was the best one tho?
Cold Steel 3 was the 2nd best CS opening?
I really don't care much about any Kiseki opening but 1:37 is kinda based
