being hexagonal it's close enough to "round" so that it can simply be swung in a hurry without having to worry too much about "edge alignment" but it had six corners to focus impact forces on...nice found-object noggin-knocker.
A really interesting take that I hadn’t thought of before, I wonder if aesthetically in the post apocalyptic genre things should be made more of metal and therefore things like clubs/ staffs/ shillelaghs that are normally made of wood aren’t used as much? I’ve just had a go at my first shillelagh and released a video about it where I tried a few wrap styles and after seeing this I think I’ll attempt a fabric wrap with carpenter nails next time! If you have time please let me know what you think of that video!
Add about 4 or five more nuts that are equally alternating where you turn each one a few degrees so you always have a point making contact and now your talking. One and done. Thanks for the vid. God bless.
Nah, your trench gun becomes an paperweight when ammo runs out in the post-apocalypse. Even in the modern milk & honey surplus era, look at how quickly supplies run out in Ukraine....on both sides. That's why there are memes about attacking with shovels.

Good stuff 😀 Makes me want to make something 🙂
So far, my personal post-apoc melee weapon is a old, small, one-handed fireman's axe I weathered.

Merry Christmas. I have an ATC Trench Club. There's no doubt that trench clubs are highly effective and deadly weapons.
Maces are great,i am about to make one,i already got a 2 feet long x 1,5 inch thick oak stick and 6 iron flanges
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas!
I own a trench club that survived the war. One of the spiked mace looking ones.
Very informative
Nice
Looks like a trash scavengerhunt item. I like it
In steps the trench gun.......
Always someone who has to be “that guy”.

@@sammiller6631and a trench club with threading and bolts could potentially be turned into a shovel handle, or several together into a spear.
