Thanks mate. No tabs unfortunately as I learnt it by ear. However it is originally played on a 6 string so you shouldn't struggle find any. All of clairvoyant is six string I'm pretty sure
Hey brother. Great sound. Uh I was wondering about the slide section at about 3:30. It sure sounds to me like the studio recording they are sliding down out of the notes, but to my very untrained eyes, it looks like your sliding up into them? It makes no difference to me, I was just looking into how one would play a similar feel in a song I'm writing.
You could right mate! But to be honest I don't really think it makes any difference. Its just a nice way of articulating the notes, makes it sound more interesting than just playing it over and over sort of thing. One person may slide down into it, another will slide up into it like me. I think it's just whatever feels comfortable bro 😊🤟
I know this comment is a year old but I figured I’d throw my 2 cents into it. The way I play it is by sliding in from 2 frets below then slide down 3 notes after the peak note. The longer descent gives more emphasis to the slide down but the initial short slide up gives the peak note more time to build up impact, this part is subtle but it adds to everything all together.
Hi mate. I pretty much constantly have an overdrive on top of the amp gain whenever I'm playing metal. It tightens things up. You'll need to gate it though!
I had no idea this song was only in drop d! Fucking great work bro and gorgeous tone... had me drooling
Me neither!
Brilliant playing and great tone bro
Thanks bud!
Tone is in the fingers and this man has tone. Great job bro!
I love this song and how it was made. So rich. Well done!
This is incredible!
Really nice thing to say bud. Thanks mate.
Really good work on the tone! Do you ever play anything from Protest the Hero?
Thanks mate! I did bloodmeat years ago! Might post it one day... We will see!

Tryna cover the song too what effects did you use to get that tone ? I figured out the distortion but did you use overdrive to enchance your leads?
