The word "Great" is a strong word 😂😂so basically in my application I was asked to submit pieces of work that I'm proud off, it could be academic or non academic. I was also asked to reflect on a time where I noticed a need in my community and took action. This maybe in school, at home etc. As a future leader, you don't have to do something great to make a difference, even the small things matter. I think ALA takes other things into consideration. Just be you. Even your introverted self will be loved by ALA😊
@MichaelJason-l9g Hello. The recommendation letter is only needed if you get to the finalist stage. ALA will require the document to gauge what your teacher and community member think of you. Hii. The time varies. It depends on many factors like the number of applicants from your country and stuff also when you applied. But you will have to just be patient. I got my results 1 and a half months later .🫠

You will submit documents like your parents' employment contract, tax , bank statements, your last fee payment, etc. Then ALA will calculate how much you can pay. It varies for every student. Those in natural stream learn sciences while the social students learn history geography economics... If I manage to reach the final stage, will the curriculum be in consideration in the exams ?
Honestly when it comes to applying, just give honest answers, don't overthink it. You would be surprised how people with simple answers still got in to ALA.
