    What are our options?
These are some of the questions that Osama and Ahsan deliberate about?

Discussion is good, but Osama Rizvi, the Host, should properly listen and should not be imposing his thoughts on the guest. Also draw some conclusion at the end of each segment. You are moving to next segment with open questions of already continued segment. And try not to say, Do u know, aaapko pata hai , such words while talking to guest, as it gives the impression as if u r telling the guest that he doesnt know

      Thank you for your feedback.
      1) I tried to listen to everyone’s point of view
      2) The fact that we are leaving things open contradicts with your earlier point that I am imposing my thoughts. I believe in open debate :) and leave it open so that we keep the debate going
      3) Ahsan is like a brother and this wasn’t a guest based podcast - the whole scenario is it to be a debate, an academic one, rooted in academic discourse, yet punctuated by heated intervals😊

The beauty of the podcast was its mood of discussion, that was lighter, respecting opinions of each others and last but not least i observed expert analysis with knowledge. Ahsan Tariq, you made this discussion worth it because of your precise and relevant analysis. Love ❤️

The problem is Us. Not China, No IMF no America. The real question is why Pakistan constantly taking loans. ? Why is it normal norm for us now to take loans? Why our system is trash since 1960's?

According to the Beijing consensus, religion must be controlled or removed by the state, which is why Pakistan never adopted it. Democracy in Pakistan does not believe in its fundamental principle of secularism. The establishment and military budget allocation of Pakistan were not discussed.

    • @jakuttan001
      @jakuttan001 ปีที่แล้ว +1

There is no democracy in Pakistan. Pakistan has never become a nation. It is still a geography.
Jinnah was a hired man by American & British post world war 2 to create a rogue banana republic so that it becomes a deep state of their interest.
If someone says there is a government then it is a democrazy. The Army recruits a govt, they then tries to built a agreement of loot this much money will be looted with consensus and for their labishingly luxuruous life.
      This continued b/w
The consensus of loot continued and when ever they cannot reach a agreement when any govt there is a military coup,
How in the world do you define democracy by military coup?
      Army - Sheriff family loot
      Army - Bhutto family loot
      Army - Imran khan loot.
All these army bosses and polotical leaders are dual citizens.... They went from rags to riches looting the money from " US, UK, European union,Saudi, UAE, Qatar grants ".
The Public in Pakistan are being fooled.
The Pakistan is just a piece work of Indian subcontinent. What was life, history before 1947?
So it is a fake artificial history and a epic of lies that was funded by UK & American, to radicalise a society.
The funds left after Army, ISI, ISPR, Pak politicians loot went and Pakistan invested in " Islamisation & Jihadism ".
The result, education only meant to be for privilege Pak punjab muslims... Rest gets shit .
The public are born fools in Pakistan. A country that cannot manage its treasury wants some other country 's territory.. Kashmir.
They sent terrorists under Jihadism sponsored, trained, schooled & radicalised by Pak Army, ISI, ISPR.. after they lost all 4 wars with no gain
      1947
      1965
1971 - The rise of Dhaka, Bangladesh born... Today they are far ahead than Pakistan..
      1999 - Kargil war.
Pak army did not even collect their dead soldiers body after their narrative lost and it became clear soldiers partnered with Pak jihadists from illegally occupied PoK.
The failure started from its creation.. No country will ever exist with religious identity and islamisation & their jihadism outcome =terrorism export to Afghanisthan, Iran, India.
The foolish pak public still does not understand their GDP equivalent money is in foreign banks, foreign assets, relatives of Pak Army, ISI, ISPR, Bhutto, Sheriff, families &Imran khan.
They should now urge to freeze their foreign bank accounts & assets.
The greatest investment of Pak Army, ISI, ISPR and all these Pak politicians are " they were successful in making the public except these ruling families continue to be fools "
They are all dual citizens either in UK, US, Ireland, Saudi, Qatar.
When you grow terrorism, jihadism in your backyard, you should expect it will start to bleed you and not just your neighbour ".
Pakistan introduced terrorism and exported to the world and subcontinent so it should eventually die from the same.
As a mute spectator just like the whole world " we wish to see you die bitten by the snakes (islamisation of society & jihadism you guys invested from British hired agent Jinnah )
      Good luck...
Hope the worst is only yet to come.
Your jihadists elements will tear you apart... They will unleash all devlish activities....
The current pakistanis can meet Jjnnah & these terrorists in hell. Your union still does not go away...

The biggest problem of Pakistan is its externalization of its problems. IMF is not there to distribute free doles to irresponsible countries. A country should be ashamed to go to the IMF 23 times. Get your act together and stop blaming the whole world for your problems.

It appears that one individual represents China while the other represents the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the United States. In my view, both countries and their financials institutes exhibit characteristics commonly associated with imperialism.

  • @kamran_zia
    @kamran_zia ปีที่แล้ว

it's basically what Ahsan said in the very beginning. Do what IMF asks you to when it gives the money. I guess the main issue isn't who gives you the dollars, it's the structural changes you need to bring. If your state is willing to implement policies which could bring growth then I think it doesn't matter who offers you the helping hand. It's true we haven't, till now, materialized any IMF plan in its true spirit. India and many others have done it and they aren't dependent on IMF anymore.

IMF Spent 56% on Surveillance & Oversight
    29% on Capacity Development
and only 15% spent on lending, so according to this IMF neither a bank nor lending is its major role. IMF lends primarily, to countries with an actual or potential Balance of payment needs, as evident by depletion of foreign exchange reserve or depreciating exchange rate.

    Hello sir,
I am from India. I really like the debate or conversation. I understand there can be multiple aspects of taking loans from different institutions.
But in your conversation I got confused about one point that is:
Should IMF right off Pakistan's loan or should it release the committed amount.
Because you said that IMF has right off for so many times, why not in case of Pakistan.
While government is looking for current dispersal desperately.
    Thankyou if you can reply.

    • @despicablecon
      @despicablecon ปีที่แล้ว +1

Under special circumstances and incentivized programs loans can be written off by IMF. Since Pak is not providing any such support so it is highly unlikely that IMF will extend such benevolence. The point here is that the country should be much more prudent in financial decision making so that the negative aspects of IMF policies should not influence the basic structure. IMF shoukd release the payment going beyond its normal line of work but that is again wishful thinking from a humble Pakistani.
