  • Tianhe is the new city centre and business district here in Guangzhou. 4K
    It is thriving with many new developments, including skyscrapers, stadium, grand shopping malls. It is also home to the oldest urban village Shipai as well as most expat communities. The district serves as a transportation hub for the airport and the train to Hong Kong.
    The District is located in the eastern part of Guangzhou. It is connected to Huangpu District in the east, Yuexiu District in the west, Baiyun District in the north, and Haizhu District in the south.Travelers can visit the landmark buildings such as Guangzhou International Finance Center and Guangzhou Opera House, go shopping in Tianhe Road, and taste local food such as steamed vermicelli roll, trotter noodles and oyster porridge. It is also one of the best neighborhoods to stay for first-time travelers to Guangzhou.
    Tianhe District is also rich in tourism attractions including Guangzhou World Grand, South China Botanical Garden, Guangdong Museum, Lu Lake, Tianhe Park and so on. You may need 1-2 days for Tianhe District travelling with the best time to visit Tianhe District Guangzhou is from October to December. The climate in Tianhe District belongs to the maritime subtropical monsoon climate. The annual average temperature is about 23°C (73℉).

    Seems like a really great megacity I want to visit some day, can also get to so many other nearby places so easily, HK, Macau, Shenzhen...perfect for daytrips

      Yeah you see it all over China haha I think some of them have to ride on the footpath

      they are electric bikes. Some cities allow E-bikes on footpath.

    Pretty, but the problem I see in a lot of these walk videos in China is public seating. Many sit on side or pavements or leaning on fountains buildings etc..
    Also a lot of people walking across the roads even though lights are green for cars.
    Edit: Need more chairs/seating in these huge public areas!

      They would be quite useless, as they will be occupied 99% of the time anyway, given the population density in these areas, that's why there are more parks in China, where you're supposed to have more room to relax, not in the middle of the sidewalk, where you are supposed to go in a certain direction / with a certain purpose. It's also a psychological aspect, in addition to walking more / doing more cardio / being healthier, you're more likely to rent a bike / taxi at some point, or want to stop and rest at a cafe / restaurant, etc. where you'll consume something / spend money, which is good for the local economy.
