Sweet, thank you for showing me the name of the flower I hard planted last year. Now I can get some Canterbury Bells seed to grow again this year.

Het is altijd belangrijk om de vormen en maten van planten in tuinontwerp te variëren

Yes it is. And it also is pleasing ethically. Thanks so much for commenting.

I did end up getting some from a nursery in PA about an hour away last spring. I had it in a fabric pot. I’m hoping it overwintered ok.

i hate chocolate mint. most invasive plant lol. i planted one small plant 9 yrs ago and have been killing and digging it up since. great job on the winter sowing. i bet all cool weather crops would do well

😆Absolutely. Mints and some other herbs like lemon balm are the herpes of the plant world. Once you got them you can’t get rid of them. I did end up getting some chocolate mint. I put mine in a pot where hopefully it didn’t spread. It doesn’t even look alive right now but that doesn’t mean anything. We shall see if the pot kept it somewhat contained. And thank you for you kind words. Most everything did really well for me last year. This year I’m doing over 100 jugs. Lots and lots of flowers this year along with everything else. I’m even going to try winter sowing peppers and tomatoes as an experiment for myself. 😊

That was a very successful winter sowing. Your seedlings were quite large actually. One of the best reveals I've seen.

Thank you. I was very impressed myself it being my first time trying it. Come the end of January I’m starting probably 20 times the amount. I have so many new seeds I wanna start and this is so easy. I’m so excited. I hope you stay in touch and watch the next winter sowing. I’ll show how I start them. 😊❤️

@@shanaphillips5535 😳. I’ve been collecting my jugs all season. I hope I have enough but I doubt it. The new seeds just keep showing up in The mail. I’m addicting to seed trading groups.

@@jencordial same here. I'm on Vancouver Island, but I wish you were my neighbor. Are you saving your own seeds too? I don't think I'll ever have to buy seeds again...lol

@@shanaphillips5535 what a sweet thing to say. I wish you were my neighbor too then I could come peek in your jugs and see all the glorious things you’re growing in them. And yes I save seeds from everything I can. I love to trade on Facebook and grow my collection.

I winter sowed them at the end of January this year. Put half a packet and so far only three have come up. I’m actually very close to Gaithersburg so that was a nice shoutout ! 😅 I hear larkspur is easier to start and the spikes look so similar. Just winter sowed those a few days ago

@@jencordial I soak mine in a weak tea for a few hours before I try to sow them. I don't always have good luck even then but sometimes it helps.
