Getting a good score in the IB is extremely hard and if you're not a very hardworking student don't take the IB because you'll be jeopardizing your chances of getting into some universities. I know some people who have 776 at HL but 33-34 overall and couldn't get into universities that A level students with equivalent grades could get into because you only take 3 subjects at A level making it easier. Most universities care about your overall score. If you're good at some subjects and bad at others you'll be voluntarily putting yourself at a disadvantage.
I live in Spain but I am native and I want to study at Oxford(English language and literature to be exact)however I am not sure if I should do the ib or A-levels..
I’m taking 3 A levels(CIE) including all sciences, along with 2 AS courses in English and Maths. Are more in depth than IB or is it more or less the same?

A-levels tend to go more in depth for each subject, however it can vary
I guess A Level would be good for my son since he might go to an American University
For American universities IB would be more advisable
but a levels are still okay to take if u are going to an American university?
Yes most do accept A levels
@@Freefreepalestinefreemylandyo which one did you pick?
Do French and German universities accept a levels?
That depends on the specific university, a lot of them do
HI SO I'M AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FROM EGYPT AND I. HAVE THE UCAT NEXT. MONTH. THE THING THAT I. DON'T. HAVE A LEVELS SO WHAT. SHOULD. I DO
For India which one is preferable?
There isn’t really a preference by country
where dmo u wanna go?
You must take math, and you can take 2 science courses in addition.
So which one is better ?
It depends on your goals and universities you will be applying to. But generally IB offers more diversity
