    Great tip Steve! Thanks.
PS: make sure the “editor guy” is not on break! 🤣

Thank you. I will give this another shot tomorrow.

Was at the range this morning, tee’d it higher and tried a more deliberate shallow swing path. It’s hard to tell the final distance as I don’t have a measuring tool outside. But i think I was doing something right as I felt good contact and the tee was often still in the ground. Thank so much.

Tried again today and still working at the range with good success. A little nervous to try on course.

Great video Steve, but I was at the PGA this year and was amazed how low they teed the ball, example Tony Finau.

Tony Finau can go over 200 mph ball speed so he can take a more lofted driver and flight it lower with spin. It's about hitting fairways when you have 135 clubhead speed when you want it.

Does this idea of playing the ball well forward of centre work for a Wood off the Tee? I use a 3-wood for tee off and wonder if I play the ball say 3 or 4” from the mid line and tee higher than normal. Would this work ? Thanks

Thanks Steve, great video and it really does work but I have one question that plagues me. Given the ball is higher and 10 inches forward of low point the club head is travelling left when striking the ball. So do we just close our stance line slightly to adjust swing plane direction while keeping the 10 inch low point opposite our body vertical centre line. That means to keep a constant Low point spot 10 inches behind the ball both left and right feet must move around an arc centred on the low point which changes the ball position relative to the left foot. Is this correct or is my geometry failing me. Regards

If I lower my driver loft should I be concerned that the adjustment will also open the club face?

Could you talk about the hand position at impact, is it ahead of the club head or is the club head ahead of the hand?

      Good topic for a video!

Come on now, that was just wrong 😂
I'm guessing hands definitely not ahead of the ball?

I hit it longer. My friends hated me because I'm allowed to use the Senior tees, now they won't even let me buy them a beer.

I’ve tried this but I hit it left, why?

If you are hitting up, your club will also be moving more leftward, so either swing more inside to out or close your stance.

That's a lie! Unless it's downhill! I average ball speed at 180+ and get distance at 320-340. 170 speed will barley make 300yrds, if it does

Are you talking only carry? Google 'Trackman Optimal Total" and find their chart. You'll see 358 is the theoretical max for 120 chs. For 170 bs, it's over 330. So you're doing something different...best guess is you spin it higher which isn't a bad thing at that speed.
