The "Invest In Wales" advert was spoofed to side-splitting effect on Not The Nine O'Clock News that same year (as both "Failed In Wales" and "Made From Whales.")
Ahhhh the 1980's were a great decade, I loved all these adverts esp the: Beaulieu one remember all thier adverts on TV and going there every year etc :-)
Jesus! Where do I begin on that You and Your Camera advert!? xD I thought it was bad enough when they advertised a free guide on "How to photograph women"! xD how times have changed xD
Are you actually allowed to take pictures of women anymore? Imagine a advert like that now! You cant even make eye contact with a woman anymore without being accused of being a pervert. What a strange world we live in now!

Sadly, the sales for the remaining issues of the "You and Your Camera" series didn't live up to those of the first.

Changed beyond recognition, and soon to be changed forever.

This must be a South region capture - was hoping to find the lesser spotted Folkestone Market ad
I was 16. I remember the kids in the tent marmite ad, and the pipe tobacco ad. I'd love an Alfa sud today, shame they all rustted away so quick.
Odd to see Paul Darrow randomly appearing in the American Express ad not too long after Blake's 7 was over (well I guess a year or two).
The first advert, has the music piece become popular in football matches for the Welsh football team?
Fantasy and album cover artist Roger Dean (Yes, Dragon's Dream) animated advert at 9:20

Is the 32 page supplement on photographing women still available?
