For those curious, as "simple" as the dance may appear or sound, other than appreciating the specifics of every movement, one can find the metric structure of the choreographies quite interesting. For this performance, here is my best analysis of its structure starting from the first footsteps of the dancers to the last bow: T{.,‘,}2T[{{..’’}4}2|{..’’}3|{..’’}4|{{..’’}3}3|..’’.,‘,.,‘,]3T{{..’’}3v ‘’|{..’’}4v ‘’}3|{..’’}4v ‘’|..’’{.,‘,}2T{{..’’}3{. ‘ }2|{..’’}4{. ‘ }2}3|{..’’}3{. ‘}2|..’’{.,‘,}2T{{..’’}3--==--=’|{..’’}4--==--=’}3|{..’’}3--==--=’|..’’{.,‘,}2T{{..’’}3*.*‘^ v |{..’’}4*.*‘^ v }3|{..’’}3*.*‘^ v |..’’{.,‘,}2T{..’’}7|{..’’}3|{v.’’}4|, v T”. The T's delineate sections. The |'s (pipes) delineate subsections. The {x}n notation denotes that x is repeated n times; these repetitions can be nested. T[x]nT denotes n sections of identical structure. The periods denote the tapping of the bamboo poles down, while the apostrophes denote their being clapped together. The general "beat" comprises four "steps" generally of the form, |..''|. The commas denote points where the bamboo poles are still tapping or clapping, but the dancers are still else making movements at half-tempo. The spaces denote steps where nothing is sounded or moved. The asterisks denote the clapping of one another’s hands. The dashes denote the holding or touching/tapping of hands while the equals signs denote a push or pull of said hands in opposite directions. ^ denotes a raising of clasped hands while v denotes a bow or the lowering of clasped arms. I would regard this choreography as having seven sections (excluding the introduction and final coda), each ended by a |..’’{.,‘,}| section coda where they perform the |..''| beat followed by two half-tempo beats of moving the same foot in and out. The first section is repeated three times and can be divided into seven positions which repeat the |..''| beat in variation 4, 4, 3, 4, 3, 3, and 3 times, followed by the section coda. Sections four to seven are of the following form: a three-times repeated subsection of two subsubsections having n and n + 1 |..''| beats, each subsubsection having its own coda lasting 1 beat in section 4 and 2 beats for the rest, then another instance of the n-beat subsubsection, then a final section coda; here, n = 3, whereby other Cheraw choreographies may set a different n or use different n's for different sections or structure the section differently. Then there comes the final coda which takes 7 beats to line up, 3 beats while lined up, then 4 beats of bowing and advancing followed by a stop and a final bow. I have also written an analysis in the comments section of the "Chapchar Kut at AR Ground, Aizawl" video which features similar elements except for the |..’’{.,‘,}| coda, and makes use of the |...’ | subsection. The Dugso dance variations of Bukidnon in the Philippines are also interesting to conduct metric and rhythmic analyses for.

This is not Indian flag. Middle
Why
Dance was awesome
It is the flag of the biggest NGO's in Mizoram where all the youth gets place at their own will called Young Mizo Association (YMA). . .☺☺
No need to wave Indian flag in this kind of performance 🤦♂️😂🤣😆 it's not Indian National dance , it's our traditional dance
