MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR FOR OUR DEAR VIEWERS. Firstly, thank you for watching our humble film. This is a film based on a short story I wrote a few years ago, not even the casts, crew or producer knows about this. This film is about the consequences of taking life for granted. Alcoholism has killed more people in our town than any disease. Alcoholism has destroyed more families than poverty. It has made wives into widows and kids into orphans and in the worst case scenario made parents bury their own kids. Shooting this film was quite a challenge as we carried props up the Dolo mountain and shot in a cold windy weather. The actors showed real determination throughout the process. Lead Budhi Nana suffered bruises all over his body in Yatii and suffered minor injuries. It is his second venture with our production house and we are deeply honoured to collaborate with him. The film was officially nominated in the best short film category in AFF 2024 though I must admit that the festival version is a different one and much shorter. Originally, the table scenes were to be a game of tic tac toe between Spirit of Death and Siira but the scenes became way to complex to shoot. Later, tic tac toe was removed and silent dialogues improvised. Friends, perhaps you are aware that short films don't have much marketability compared to feature films, so your kind comments and views means the world to us. Thank you for that. Kudos to the filmmakers for tackling such a difficult subject with sensitivity and depth. 'Life, Death, and a Ghost in Time' is a powerful reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of seeking help. ❤
Very well done ! The story , Direction , acting , cinematography and especially the message shows the reality of our society . So hats off to the writer for coming up with such a unique concept to spread awareness regarding alcohol abuse & it's consequences by givin a touch of horror, thriller , fantasy , and emotions altogether.
I think I like the feel of this film. Most filmaker of our state shoot films like national geographic videos always fresh and green... doesn't feel like a film at all. This one is dusky, and i see that shot in high exposure and tone down of colours and saturation. I appreciate that it look diffrnt. All films cannot look like the colour grading of our scenary type song videos. more power.
