In terms of quality, detail, usability, durability and overall value, you can't go wrong with them. They're not the most accurate but that's only a problem if you're a rivet counter.
Nice to see Ron Gibson. met him at Roger Clarkson's in Riverside, Ca. back in 1994. he looks different. But don't we all. Always a pleasure! Love Train World!
I really like engine sounds and the bells and whistles - can a sound tender be added to the LGB 72304 Christmas train or is it doomed to remain silent.
Is Train world in CA? My mom bought me reading engine and Long island cars!!!! But the engine I wanted was outta stock, so my mom emailed you for the new engine I want! I love your store and website!!!
A lot of personal preference. MRC, PIKO, LGB, NCE all have DCC systems you can use. It also depends on the price your looking to spend. LGB will be the most expensive.
When is LGB going to publish a Canadian/Mexican catalog ? Ooor relabel their "u.s. catalog", a 'NorthAmerican' with all 3 national flags on the front cover !? Considering sales, and the G-gauge hobby in the U.S. is being constantly 'decried' !? p.s. thanks for vid' interview !
"North American" would suffice IMHO "...A lot of G scalers in Canada." Also noticed a ONT diesel available this yr. ! That is why I make the point wherever/whenever opportunity presents. And sent the suggestion via LGBmarklin email, but they did not even bother replying !! ;) "...But they need a snow plow lol!..." Some of us run the AC offering from 10+yrs ago annnnd recently saw a posting suggesting rolling out again via the corp. forum that has the molds in their possession ;) since this is a LGB you tube vid . . will not spell out that (active) competitive corp. name even though you do stock their product line !! Was wondering if anyone with actual snow on their mainlines has successfully utilized the LGB euro'version of a snowplow ? Our well-weathered leased CN gon'plow with SD-45 power unit, this past Sun. punched thru scale 8' deep heavy white stuff to clear out the BlackToothGap, when it warmed up to +13c. (fyi - trackpower) rollin'
We do love our first edition Christmas LGB train. My children loved it and now our grandchildren are also enjoying it.
Great to hear!

The new LGB has completely priced themselves out of the market. Thank goodness for the old stock.
