Wrapping to color match bumpers on my 2021 F-150 Powerboost... FAIL!!!

- Wrapping the bumpers on my 2021 Ford F150 turned out to be a lot more work than I had anticipated. Ultimately I was okay with the quality of my work and could have cleaned it up a little more but unfortunately the color didn't match close enough. Just for those who might be trying to do the same thing I used Avery SW900-109-S Gloss White Pearl to try and match the Ford Star White. It was close but not close enough.

A lot of work for sure, now we know why a professional who does this everyday is worth the $$ to make it happen ... my 2021 Lariet came with color matching bumpers, door handles, tailgate handle, mirrors ... really looks great. The chrome is nice too.
I totally commend you for the effort, I’m a Chrome guy, but I thought it would be interesting to see what it look like. Not bad. However I think the bugs and the stone chips on the bumpers would really make it look rough after a period of time. My son does paint detail, and says the Chevys with the painted bumpers really look rough after a few years and miles later. Long story short still like the chrome. But again thank you for the effort just to see what it would look like.
Looks pretty good for a first time and you certainly have learned (as we did to) about wrapping! Did covering the sensors affect them?
Look good and great color match for first attempt. Did you order samples 1st to match up? Off topic, what exhaust tailpipe or kit do you have? Looks good.

I must be old fashioned but I prefer the chrome. My 2020 F250 KR was bought because it was the only king ranch I could find on the lots at the time that had the chrome package, my preferred color choice was red but settled for the white and now I'm ok with that.
Did you find any color that matched it better?
How many feet did you get for bumpers
I’d leave it on for bugs 🤷🏻♂️ For a first time it’s pretty good. Surprised the color was as close as it was.
It was worth a shot, either trading or going powder coat will be the way to go.

Looks good man. I wrapped the center part of my grille on my 2018. I wanna do the bumpers next but the front worries me. Back looks simple though. At least compared to the grille
The front was really hard.

Honestly I don’t know. I’m conflicted because I don’t mind the chrome on this paint scheme but also think I prefer the painted look.
I got a 2021 Ford F150 3.5 eco-boost XLT and from a big truck they’re pretty fast

I dont know, I got the 21 powerboost platinum that came with color matching bumpers.
I am old school and perfer the chrome. Maybe it will grow on me.

Pretty good for a first time wrap. A couple tips for the future is to clean with isopropyl alcohol, use primer on edges and complex curves, post heat the wrap once finished, and cut around the parking sensors for longevity.
I've been doing this for a living now like 12 years. People have no idea what goes into it....bumpers are no joke, right

Why don't you just take it to a body shop and have them paint it to match the factory paint? I had my chrome delete done and everything came to a total of $3,000. It looks like it came out of the factory that way.
Because I didn’t want to pay $3,000 lol. In all reality I probably will at some point.
