  • Organist Jim Riggs passed recently. We honor his immense talent and his kind friendship with the Sanfilippo family, with a selection of his music from our Wurlitzwer player system (Uniflex).
Autumn in New York, by Jim Riggs.

I have been involved with theatre organ since 1969. Jim's passing has been difficult for me.

Rip to a true master of the theatre organ. My number 1 orchestral and Jazz organist of his age.

I'm surprised Jim passed away. I still have his recording for "Hooray for Hollywood" that he played on the Roxy Organ at the Maloof home

Simply wonderful - thanks for posting this. I'd love to hear any further selections that Jim Riggs recorded on the Sanfilippo organ, or even a whole playlist / virtual concert of them, if the organ is otherwise sitting idle some afternoon.

Thanks so much for doing this, Greg, I shared it with Jim's widow Tina, and she loved it.
