Final Fantasy 7 had a significant, positive, and enriching impact on my development as a child. It instilled a deep sense of wonder, awe, gratitude, curiosity, and appreciation of beauty. This song and the concept of the lifestream especially. My Mom would ask why I was sitting in front of the TV and not moving the characters, and I just turned and smiled and told her I am listening to the beautiful music. She would smile, and let me be. To this day the concept of the lifestream is my preferred spiritual view of the universe and existence. It provides a comfort in that we are all One and that while the human experience is forever a lonely experience, we are all alone together. Yet, we are all special in that we're unique manifestations of this energy, or lifestream, and that there will never be another *exact* manifestation as me. I take comfort knowing that I am simultaneously alone and connected, that I am special, and that when I die, my essence returns to the infinite beauty and mystery of the universe. The curiosity imbued in me by this song and FF7 in general has led me to start my own quirky, wonderful family, explore the world through surfing exotic and incredibly magical waves, and pursue a career in science and engineering. I am still that 7 year child gawking at the lifestream scene, listening to the music. Thank you for making this emotional, delicate rendition.

Currently asking Seto for advice, but he's giving me the silent treatment.
Well, as I was in the camp for Bugenhagen's astronomical lore dump (heh!) to be the image, it's only fitting that I play this exquisite performance while typing story notes.
Love this rendition so much. The thrumming of the harp is mesmerizing. Fully approve of the image choice too. The Lifestream is about more than our main characters, after all!

Yeah, I think first about the sweeping visuals of that scene, which is excellent. This probably works better to capture the essence of the Lifestream as a mostly-static image.

I am really enjoying your channel. Just subbed. You are a tremendous player, and your takes on these pieces are superb. I am a guitar player, so I lack the right terminology, but the 'attack' of plucking the harp strings has this audible percussive character that gives it such presence and brightness. Thanks so much, and please keep going with these renditions. So many people cherish the music from these games, and your versions stand, in my opinion, toe-to-toe with the best.
