Pretty spot on analysis, you clearly know what your talking about, I guess to be expected as people familiar with music and song creation and having apparently also seen fair few of BB songs already. Their singles and music vids are mostly pop metal stuff like this one, they have quite a range of other styles as deep cuts but I wouldn't say its worth reacting to them. - keep things simple, yeah the band themselves said that they deliberately make sure things don't get complicated. Its not that they cant, the guitarist also plays in a melodic deathmetal band and I have seen the brothers (lead and keys) cover dream theatre stuff. So they can play technical stuff as and when they want but it seems in this specific band, as you say, its supposed to be more pop metal. Also, the keyboardist is the bands producer (actually older brother of lead guitar player), writes significant proportion of their songs and he's actually super into pop music, writes pop songs, and literally been known to wear a Brittny Spears T-shirt from her official store while on stage performing live with the band ect. - 80s sound - yep also said that's what they go for. Basically classic 80s metal but with some modern production elements. Its a common thing to do but I personally don't feel comfortable comparing BB with bands such as Gloryhammer or Nanowar of Steel. Those bands have their place and value but are kind of a deliberate parody of powermetal cheese and sing about hammers, gameboys, pirates ect. This BB song was written by their bass player after he had a brain cancer diagnosis (fortunately benign). Yeah its simple catchy fun pop metal (80s synth like other bands) but within the meaning of the song is a person facing the sudden reality of their mortality. The guitar solo and high notes at the end isn't mindless guitar wankery and screaming, it brings to mind thoughts and feelings of ascending into heaven, lead by an angel, behind their 'Wings of Light'. - Write songs for their singer - again exactly right, they said that's what they do. Apparently by, putting effort into making sure the songs are in the right key for her voice. Sometimes Noora will work with producer to change some vocal lines per her request. And apparently they also make sure that the songs are not too high so Noora can sing them relaxed. The entire band is awesome, each player good in their own right, the song writing and production by them contributes immensely to the bands quality but Noora is absolutely the star of the band. She is world class and one of the best metal singers around today, and has been for the last 10 years. She's their glue and her singing songs written by 3 different band members is what makes them all sound like Battle Beast songs (something the bass player said). Most people today, even those that already know she's good, have no clue how good she actually is. Before Joining Battle Beast she had never even sang metal before, its the last and most recent genre she sings. Her roots are actually in Blues, Jazz, Country and Pop. As more people overtime see some of the performances she has done, they will see she's not just good, she's great. The only thing you didn't really get fully was the video shoot. Most people also say drone but Its actually not a drone. Rather, its done with some kind of crane with gimbal system, similar to what's been used in movies and Tv shows in recent years.
Here's a suggestion to check out, reaction or not. NETTA LAURENNE. She has done several duets with Noora. But my suggestion is none of those. Netta is an actress and she's also on TV occasionally announcing lotto results, like tonight, one hour ago. She hates it when someone says: "Sing cutely!" She has done great covers with "Run for Cover Band", excellent band. Dio's "DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS" and Yngwie Malmsteen's "RISING FORCE" to name but a few. Now they have written their own material under the name SMACKBOUND. "DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT" Official music video or the lockdown diaries version. I think you might like this one. (These Wintersun guys are here and there and everywhere. The guitarist of Run for Cover Band and Smackbound is from Wintersun.)
Beanie's finally gettin' with the program, conjuring up the Beast! 😈 And a Battle Beast request that wasn't mine. 😲 Can't go wrong with Noora though. 🤘😎

I agree. And people praise Anton Kabanen, but he didn't want the band to contribute to the writing and his stuff is good but gets lost in mix of every other euro metal band. This Battle Beast is fun, energetic, catchy and stands out. We have enough bands who want to battle dragons.
Welp. I know another band I need to check out. I won't how this would sound with a vocalist like the one in Kamalot. It was good, but, I think could have been a little better. Overall very catchy tune.
Noora's voice is outstanding, love the gravel and the power.
Saw them live last week in my city in Spain, outstanding band.
Battle Beast is freaking amazing. 🤘🤘🤘
The whole band is just awesome, the drummer , the lead guitarist, everyone...

So gooood, not big suprise that this is Finnish band 😁

Netta laurenne, Smackbound!
Noora to Battle Beast is same as Tarja to Nightwish. Former singer Nitte just didn't have IT to push through.

I'd love to see your take on Diablo Swing Orchestra - Superhero Jagganath
I would imagine the shorts were from a crane and a cameraman. No one would fly a drone inside in the middle of the band.
You guys need to revisit The Warning - Disciple Live at Teatro CDMX 2022
Here for the next LOVEBITES reaction. 😀🤘
When will we hear your reaction to Korpiklaani - Leväluhta?
🇫🇮🇫🇮🇫🇮🤘🤘🤘💪💪💪
Is Ern doing reaction from his McD's office? 😂😂
I'm new here, whats a 'song' ?

Not a very creative or truthful comment.
