Great job. Definitely this is a channel that brings knowledge which is quite different from others that are produced by enthusiastic who think they are pilot and want to appear talking about what they dont know. Or moms who are not mature enough to be part of a crew. This channel is made for aviators only. Otherwise toga
I'm not absolutely sure as I'm not flying this type, but my best guess is NO, no variant of the 787 has a critical engine. That's because this airplane has no bleed system. Pressurization comes from an alternate source (eletrical), so, there is no thrust assymetry at any given moment.
Crosswind definitely affects lateral control, however, the wind is not considered when establishing VMCG. So there is no such thing as critical engine due to wind effect, despite the fact that it is a real issue in practical terms!
You give me the answer I have been seeking for a long while.Brilliant and thank you.
Thank you for commenting, Meng-Lung! Glad you've liked it!

What about 787-10 series? Does it have critical engine?

When you climb above or close16 angle of attack critical engine jet air cannot through the engine damage have engine blades
Great video, but what if you have crosswind? What would be the critical engine?
Crosswind definitely affects lateral control, however, the wind is not considered when establishing VMCG. So there is no such thing as critical engine due to wind effect, despite the fact that it is a real issue in practical terms!
