I laughed so hard at Loki and Mobius. I agree that they are SO GOOD together. This is still the best MCU show of them all. I am really looking forward to the rest of the season :D
At this point I'm kinda hoping Loki stays a self contained story out of the rest of the larger MCU. I don't want mediocre movies/shows interfering with what they can and cannot do.
This was one HELL of an episode. The cinematography, the quiet moments, the scene with OB remembering his conversation with Loki in real time... really just everything about it slapped. Mobius and Loki's chemistry has only gotten better since last season. One of the best hours of The Marvel Show since Endgame.

Fantastic first episode. Love to see the characters back and especially love the addition of Ke Huy Quan as O.B. He is such a joy to watch and I am happy to see him more in Hollywood. Otherwise this episode was so well paced. Felt like 10 Minutes. The editing and cinematography was also beautiful. Lot of neat shots in this episode. Can not wait to see where this goes
It was an absolute banger of an episode. Loki has always been my favorite MCU character ever since I saw The Avengers and his portrayal in this series by Tom Hiddleston is perfection. Owen Wilson is sooo good as Mobius and the additions of Ke Huy Quan as O.B. is a great addition to the cast.
The Loki and Mobius dynamic is even better this season. I loved this episode. I was so anxious and on the edge of my seat the whole time. And OB is adorable. He must be protected at all costs. General Dox I think her name was has the strongest Scottish accent I’ve ever heard. Reminds me of that guy who was at the beginning and end of Andor. The one who worked with Serol. I forget his name.
I am not a massive marvel fan (all Star Wars for me) but, ever since we first were introduced to Tom Hiddleston as Loki in Thor he became my favorite marvel character through the entire cinematic universe. Having his own show is absolutely well deserved and incredibly entertaining to watch. Love it.
This episode though ooooooh it was so tripping but so interesting and cool like I'm so hooked and Slyvie being like "there you are" like she's been looking for him as well ahhhhhh 💚💚 Tom is phenomenal at paying Loki like there's a reason Loki is one my fave characters !!
s2-ep1 was so intriguing. I adored the little jokes. Time slipping looked very painful and terrifying but i was Loving Loki's hair flips everytime he's does that 😅. I love the new character O.B , he's cute. And that cliffhanger 🤯.

Dox and that X5 guy or whatever he's called, he is a douche canoe. They were very weird together. Who are those other 2 people in the warroom? And how many different jobs does Casey have in the TVA? He attended the "front desk" when Loki first arrived, he works at another desk in that monitor room, he buffers floors... What is his job description?
I’ll be honest, I was laughing at the fact that multiple characters said “wow” before Mobious. I’m not mad, I just heard it is a trend for Owen Wilson to say “wow” in multiple content. 😂
So if the ending was a bit confusing, Loki needed to prune himself as soon as Mobius turned on the device. When you prune yourself you’re basically erasing yourself from the timeline and since he was time slipping the device is meant to pull him out from the past, present and future, which Loki was experiencing all at once. So the question is, who pruned Loki in the future? because he dropped the prune stick when he went to the future. Did whoever prune him meant to help him in the future or is it that Loki is being pruned by someone in the future who wants him gone?
I have never heard it called "dutch tape" before. Is this an actual thing I've somehow existed 30+ (no need to be specific.... right?) years without hearing of? ( 21:29 for reference )

Since they seemingly closed time at the very end. Does this mean everyone will be stuck in both the time and place they are?? (Just theorizing) Such as Silvie and all of the time keppers that supposedly left to find her. This is the first time Silvie got to experience life and freedom that wasn't constant survival. You could tell that she had envy for the customers in mcdonalds. It was nice to see that for her.
I love the sequence with O.B. It reminds me a lot of Ocarina of Time and the whole revisiting the same location in two different time periods to progress in the story.
I agree I couldn’t quite get into everything we’ve gotten from the multiverse in the MCU. Everything everywhere all at once blew DS2 out of the water lol. And then Loki comes along and they just nailed it. So pumped for this season. The set design, the characters, the chemistry between the actors, it’s my favorite of all the MCU shows and a top choice of MCU content overall for me.

The other person in the elevator- that was the genuine funniest things I’ve seen in a while. If you are cool enough to be named in the song OCTAVARIUM, you deserve a jet ski. The flat-top getting wise @ the end is good writing.
The reason why Loki is so entriguing is because he wasn't spoonfed to us. He made small appearances and just enough in the Thor movies that he didn't wear out his welcome. You didn't like some of the recent movies because those characters had ran their course. Loki has the ability to stay fresh and new.
This first episode was so good, loved it so much. Unlike you I really enjoyed Multiverse of Madness but I didn’t like No Way Home and Quantumania so I definitely get what you mean when you say that Loki has a different (and better) vibe compared to the other multiverse centered projects.
So glad that Mobius not knowing Loki was in the past. I hated the end of last season when he didn't know Loki. Everyone was so good in this season opener, looking forward to where this arc goes. Ke Huy Quan is incredible.

I like they let us know Loki was in the past (and future)of the the same TVA, and not in another Universe TVA like was what many people thought. That new character X5 look will be important.
