Also giving the slight edge to "Back In Black", but "Shout At The Devil" is Motley Crue's best album in my opinion. I remember being 15 when "Back In Black" first came out, and was blown away how amazing it was. Wasn't sure if they could pull it off considering Bon had recently passed, but they sure did deliver.🤘

Shout is a good record, but this comparison isn't even fair. All of us who were kids at the time remember when SATD came out, when/where we got it etc. but when you put on Back in Black You *FEEL* that time...that summer hanging out with your friends in the woods or on the corner with your radio playing the tape you made over and over until it broke. If you were around in 1980 & into hard rock/metal (or even punk like me) Back In Black is a strand in your DNA.
Ever realize how GREAT Brian's voice sounds on this album. It's got actual tone, balls, this almost working man blue collar badassery. But he's singing...HARD....but singing. But then, when you listen to something like "Thunderstruck," his voice is just awful. It's all screech and like a distorted version of the voice on Back in Black or For those about, or even Flick. I always wondered how it went from all KILLER to atonal screech. I guess his voice was so high end & full on, it had a limited shelf life (plus, all the touring).
AC DC is still better... But Shout is just so fucking awesome. 1. Hells Bells 2. Looks that kill 3. Bastard 4. Giving the dog 5. Let me put my love 6. Red Hot 7. 2 young 2 fall 8. Have a drink on me 9. Ten seconds to love 10. Rock n roll ain't noise

Motley played some of "Bastard" during the acoustic set of a Las Vegas residency back in the 2010s!

I'll give Motley Danger and that's it. It is a good album but Back In Black is awesome!
I agree with the tie but I like SATD more. It’s just too bad-ass. Bastard is so damn metal
Back in Black is perfect, but Shout is slightly above for me!!!!
ACDC back in Black 10
Motley Crue shout at the devil
Nothing no doubt about it not even close end of story
Shout is a good record, but this comparison isn't even fair. it is like the Avril Lavigne story where she was replaced ., love these conspiracy theories ..,
Ever realize how GREAT Brian's voice sounds on this album.

Ballbreaker would sound better if Brian sounded like this!!
Gotta go with Back in Black … it’s just a classic album.
So Motley Crue have their own “Paul is dead” myth?
